Still the council's responsibility to move them off, but it certainly serves as a warning to Rovers of the kind of thing they will need to deal with.
If the site is secure (gated) then the travellers have no right of access, but if its open there is nothing to stop them getting on, then its a matter for the land owner/police. What they tend to do is use a JCB or something to drive through a gate to open it, then all pile through and say the gate was broken.

....dont tell the Dingles

Wonder how long it is before the fixtures and fittings on the stadium go missing.

A bit early for the friendly aren't they

Just been down the KM, I`m not sure they`re travellers, the caravans are on the small side and one is a camper van, never seen a gypo with a camper van before, also there`s no sign of any tranny vans at all
-
That's settled it then, clearly Dingles getting here early!

I think you may find thats the guys who do the motorcycle training!
Nice to stereotype travellers by the way, its usually the ignorant people that start the trouble!

They do a good job of stereotyping themselves!
-
so are all football fans thugs?
are all scousers thieves?
I agree some travellers are generally the typical stereotype, the tv also tend to generalise them, on a personal level some of the travellers I know and Ive met are the most genuine people Ive met and a lot of them hate the way they are portrayed!
There is also a massive difference between the different types of traveller! Irish travellers, Gypsys, Roamany, Didicoy etc!

Since when do the motorcycle lot that train there hang there washing on the fence, and I did put "travellers" in quote marks, lets make sure they pay a fiver each matchday to park there...decent result that for them
TBH they shouldn't be there its private land. non of this crap "oh weve got nowhere else to go" find somewhere to rent or buy and get the relevant planning permission!

The husband is doing his bike course/test all this week, was his first day yesterday and he said that there were quite a few of the kids from the "campsite" who kept coming over and messing about and getting in the way....thing is, if the council do nothing about it, come the start of the season and we will be over-run! :s
