...I will temporarily become a Southampton fan for 2 hours.
Best of luck on your Premiership debut, Mr Sharp.

+1 on that.

I wonder if they'll go 4-5-1 with Lambert up front ?
Getting anything would be a staggering achievement.

If he starts il be straight online to back him first scorer.
He's just that kind of man, wouldn't put anything past him.
His England call up starts here.

He's on the bench.

He's on the bench.
Yep, on the bench - Number 11

Can see him going out on loan to maybe a championship club to be honest if they are playing one up front
2nd loan return ? We can dream :scarf:

let's be honest - a team like Southampton are always going to play just one up top against a side like City, doesn't mean they'll do it week in, week out

Did he not play in the Premiership with the Blades?

I don't think so. I think Bryan Robson signed him following their relegation.

Sharp will end up at Forest on loan or maybe even permanent in January. A truly great player for us but nowhere near good enough for a team hoping to stay in the Prem and bidding £12m for wingers.
-
Looks as if hes going to make a late apperance ... come on billy
-
After watching today I can see myself becoming a Southampton fan whenever he's on the pitch for them. Reeally hope he makes a good impression when given the chance in the Premier League.

When Sheffield United was in the Prem he played for Scunthorpe, following their relegation in 2007 they purchased him from Scunthorpe in a deal that involved Jonathon Forte going the other way.
