I think copps should be on the bench for the game tonight , only 2 weeks ago I was worried at the thought of him leaving but after sat match I don't think he would get in the first team for a couple of games !

Got to go with the same team as Sat imo.

I think we will play a different style tonight. More possession, more on the front foot.
I expect Copps to start. No idea who he'll replace though.

Unchanged I expect tonight, you can't drop any of the attacking players, has to be unchanged really. Looking forward to seeing us attack teams. Our big flaw last time in this league at first was not having a prescence up front meaning we played football and couldn't break teams who sat and defended down. We'll have Brown and Paynter in the box tonight, these two can certainly cause problems in many ways. Quite optimistic we'll find it easier breaking teams down this season, that should be interesting.

I wish we could have got rid of him during the summer. Why pay over the odds for a player like Coppinger when he is distinctly average most of the time. He has shown glimpses of amazing quality, but over a 5 or 10 game period he has never produced consistently good performances.
Keeping him is a big mistake.

Saunders' Player interview pre-Bury seemed to suggest Hull interest in Copps has gone quiet but he did not have him in the starting line-up Saturday as at the time he looked like leaving...this said, difficult to change a winning line up and I don't see Copps adding much to the attack that we don't already have - hats of to him though for putting a shift in as sub especially if future uncertain.
WHatever the line up let's hope for 3 points tonight - with possible top of the table clash on Saturday :scarf:

After feeling quite down and disillusioned at times last season, I'm just glad to have my Mojo back.

I think Alan's problem is his slightly aggressive way of saying things. In truth, saying Copps is average a lot is not far off the truth. Its obvious to anyone who has watched him these 9 years that he is capable of playing in the PL but he is nowhere consistent enough to make it and that inconsistency leads him to be average when not firing. He needs to go in my opinion for his and our own good.
