Good as always, really interesting to see where the rest o the class of 02/03 have ended up ..............well I knew where Dagenham had ended up :s
-
And of all those 22 teams, only Forest Green can say they have remained in the Conference every season since! Though I think they have actually finished in relegation spot only to be reprieved on a good few occasions.
-
Good read fuzzy. Spurr crossed for jones on Tuesday though..
It's a little surprising that only Leigh have gone to the wall out of those clubs, although I suppose Scarborough and Halifax are new sides really.
-
Many of them, Halifax, Scarborough, Margate, Gravesend & Northfleet are not the same clubs that they were. I was originally just going to say they folded and when they folded but decided to dig deeper. Leigh RMI folded before reincarnation as Leigh Genesis. They were relegated in 2010/11 from The NPL division 1 North. They had no ground and did not apply for membership of the Northern Counties League.
You're quite right about Forest Green Rovers being the only one of those teams never to have left the conference since that season though how they have not been relegated, no one is really sure.
-
Is Hayter gonna come back to haunt us today?
I reckon Rovers to nick it 2-1 :scarf:
-
I'm not in a good mood today. I miss Copps, the Oldham game has been caled off meaning I have to find something to bloody do next weekend that is not watching football, and I really wanted to go today but had nobody to go with.
But a win makes everything feel a little bit better, it really does. So come on you reds :scarf:
-
Martis fit and on the bench.
-
Team Line up
(http://a.yfrog.com/img741/2509/uzdya.jpg)
-
Holy hell we've got a full bench!
-
Decent quality bench an all. Good standard replacements for pretty much ever position.
-
Is this the first time in years we have not had one injury? Touch wood, it will stay that way.
-
Come on Rovers. I'm going for a tight game and a clean sheet.
2-0 rovers. Syers and The Decorator getting off the mark.
-
Rovers Player is working for me today. Not changed any settings from the other night when it didn't work.
-
Were gonna win :scarf:
-
I still cannot understand why we don't start Harper over Woods, in the 3 league games I've watched this season Woods struggles in the middle of the park.
Fingers crossed it changes today...
COYR :scarf:
-
They've got Byron Webster in defence. We must fancy our chances surely!
-
Barn door might score then
-
Wendy 1 down
-
1 cleared off the line, one off the bar, lucky so far.
-
Shame that Leeds are 0-2 at home.
-
Disappointed Husband and Harper not started. I thought Deano may have learned from Tuesday night.
Come on lads, put the hard work in.
-
Husband isn't a right back, much prefer Quinn to play. Unless you want him to replace Spurr which would be insanity.
-
Quinn carrying an injury?
-
Husbands good enough to play either side. Would prefer Spurr partnering Jones in the centre.
-
Sounds like a very scrappy game.
-
Scrappy stuff so far with them probably having the better of it
:rtid: I'm :rtid:
I know I am
I'm sure I am
I'm :rtid: :woot:
C'mon Deano get 'em fired up for the second :boxing: :clapping:
Got to go down the Winti now :byebye:
-
Woods is shocking, I'd bring harper or keegan on Saunders is screaming at him to get in the ball but he's just hiding.
Cotterill our best player at minute
-
Don't understand why Dean as changed the midfield again from Tuesday. Syers much more effective in an attacking midfield role can't do that playing along side Woods. But we will wait and see.
-
Too much punt the ball in and hope stuff again.
-
Not sure if many of you have realised but we are playing away!!!
As with most teams we will play a totally different game to when we are at home.
-
Think we're gonna be like this away, he's said that all along that he wants us to be hard to beat away from home
-
If that's the case why pick Woods in midfield. He is only good when he has a minder.
-
We have lost one game what are you moaning about.
-
:(
Hayts... bound to
-
He had too didnt he :headbang:
-
f**king KNEW it. James Hayter scores, of course he does.
-
Hayter shit. Knew he woul;d get one.
-
Would you believe it Hayter as scored.
-
Got nothing to come here.
-
Another ex player haunts us!
-
I would have put money on that one.
-
Hayter is a class act. No celebration.
-
Bennett's fault the goal
-
Hayter, great League one Player. Shame we didnt have enough to keep him here.
-
..... with a header had to be didn't it !!
-
we can come back :scarf:
-
Would you believe it Hayter as scored.
If he stays injury free would bet on him being top scorer in this league this season
-
Entirely predictable with line-up we have. Midfield and defence playing statues.
Seems we just wait until opposition score before we change anything
-
And he is playing absolute dog shit.
Harper and hume on for brown and bennett
-
Come on Humey
-
Not playing through our midfield, just kicking it up again, we need to play some football.
-
53% of the play and 1-0 down. What will Mick have to say about that?
-
Sounds like Spurr missed a sitter
-
Are you at the game? Cause were not getting it forward quirking enough. We look dangerous when we're around the box.
-
Yeovil sound the much better team unfortunately. We don't seem to be doing much when we are in possession. Blake to be the last sub on?
-
C'MON ROVERS
C'MON ROVERS
:scarf: :clapping: :scarf: :clapping: :scarf: :clapping:
-
A bit of a joke this. No disrespect to Yeovil but we have a player, maybe even players, who are worth more than their whole team. Should be doing better. Hope we can turn it around or at least nick a point.
-
Sounds as though we're at 6's and 7's at the back
-
Yeovil is a very tough place to go. Not many teams will go there and win.
-
The defence has kept us in it. They look at 6's and 7's because they're having to do last ditch defending cause of the mistakes in front of them.
Camped in their half now buy they look dangerous in the break.
Don't think it's gonna stay 1-0
-

That sounds remarkably like the sort of thing that teams used to say about us in the Championship, we have no devine right to be winning, we have to start using the ammunition available better!
-
come on rovers.. we can pull this back!
-
How many times is M Woods going to give the ball away.
-
Yeah - why do people think they can say "no disrespect to..." and then be disrespectful?
C'Mon Donny - you can do it :clapping:
-
Yeovil is a very tough place to go. Not many teams will go there and win.
They won 10 and lost 10 at home in the league last season so that's not true. 14th in the Home League Table.
-
How can a defence that includes Byron Webster be comfortably keeping us out?
-
Woods is shocking.. Harper changed game
-
Hayter, great League one Player. Shame we didnt have enough to keep him here.
Totally agree, he will score plenty in this League.
-
4 shots with 2 on target from Rovers according to the BBC stats
-
Still chance for an equaliser
COYR
-
Yeah - why do people think they can say "no disrespect to..." and then be disrespectful?
C'Mon Donny - you can do it :clapping:
Its similar to when people say "Im not a racist but......."
-
:( :(
-
bollox
-
Game over
-
oh ffs
-
Is that another Yeovil goal?
-
New Rovers, just like the old Rovers...
-
Just beggars belief that even when a player like Woods is having another poor game, he stays on.
Poor team selection and that's the managers call.
-
I'm sure the happy clappers will find something to be positive about.
-
Dont worry its only two defeats and two games without scoring.
-
Frosty needs to increase the mogodon
-
Yeovil's local radio are saying that Saunders moved Rob Jones up front and within seconds Yeovil profit from a defence lacking in organisation.
-
Woods needs to be dropped. He has been poor in EVERY game this season. If that trend has continued today, there is no excuse to keep him in the XI.
-
Let me guess
Is saunders playing the predictable 4-4-2 and getting us to hoof it in air and not changing course
:headbang:
-
I'm sure the usual suspects will be wanting the Manager out.
-
Woods caught off his line according to bbc
-
Commentators said it all, one dimensional. We need to start using this strange thing called passing the ball. Has the ball gone into the penalty area on the floor today yet? Not very often.
-
Sounds like they've been ok in last 5-10 mins
-
I'm sure the usual suspects will be wanting the Manager out.
Nobody has even mentioned that yet. Other than you, obviously.
-
Yeovil's local radio are saying that Saunders moved Rob Jones up front and within seconds Yeovil profit from a defence lacking in organisation.
Nothing changes when we were down last season panic set in and goals were scored against. But it's only the fourth league game Dean needs time to get it right!!
-
It was a response to Mr Frost. Calm down.
-
Get in paynter! Come on we can nick this
-
How long do we have to wait? Until we are in L2?
-
Gutted. Too late :/
-
At least we have a positive from today's game! Paynter off the mark!
-
I'm sure the usual suspects will be wanting the Manager out.
Let's not start that again. If any body is critical of the managers tactics then they want him out. Not going to happen. Well done Billy scoring we still may get a draw.
-
Oh well. Always next time :clapping:
-
Well, true nostalgia today then as we lose to Yeovil once more. We need to win next time, whenever that actually is now.
-
I'm sure the usual suspects will be wanting the Manager out.

Who's mentioned anything about wanting Dean out except Wellred himself?
-
At least Billy's off the mark :)
-

It's a concern though, not a critiscism of saunders that as people say just with harry redknapp its alrightbeen a good motivator etc but if you haven't got a clue with formation changes etc then it is a concern
-
Great Paynter's off the mark. Shame we lost. 1:0 to Winti dot the information of Fonny branch supporters club
-
Makes me laugh everybody quoting what the commentators are saying or what bbc are saying.
