Title: LUFC & DRFC fined.

Following the brawl between the two sides earlier this year DRFC have been fined £20,000 for a "failure to ensure its players and/or officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour".


Leeds were fined £25,000 for the same charge.

Least all the posts about fans shaming the club should stop. perhaps the club will apologise to the fans ? Also how is it proportional for us to pay only £5k less than Leeds with their gate receipts ?

  That's a lot steeper than I was expecting to be honest..I know there two different organisations but i'd love to sit that useless clown Platini down and ask him..If they can fine Bendtner £80,000 for having incorrect advertising on his pants and we get fined by the fa £20,0000 for a few words and handbags at Leed's........How can they justify fining Serbia £16,000 last time for racist abuse,yes my French friend worked a treat that did.......

I guess the short answer would be that the gate receipts wasn't taken into account, and I'm guessing that the evidence given gave the FA no reason to account for it either. However we did ask for a personal hearing (according to that article) so maybe something happened there that saved us £5K?

The same organisation (the FA), banned a schoolboy for 5 (FIVE) games, because he gave his name as Santa Claus when the ref went to book him! Unbloodybelievable!!

The short answer is that Leeds are a Championship club and we are (currently) Lg1.

I got sent off once by a referee who didn't believe me when I told him my initials, thought I was being cheeky and gave me a second yellow for dissent, funny thing was I was telling the truth.
