Title: Match Reports from Preston's website

This is what it says about the 1st goal

"The first came with only a minute on the clock as from a corner after 30 seconds – which really should not have been given, as should have been a goal kick or a free kick for a push on Bailey Wright – was executed well with David Cotterill delivering into the right hand corner of the box, and Boxing Day match winner David Syrers scooping a volley up and over Thorsten Stuckmann, who scrambled back, but it ended in top left hand corner."

Then

"Substitute Anthony Elding broke clear in the 69th minite and slid a shot across Woods, but also just past the right hand post, but the second half was very different to the first, with PNE doing all the attacking and the visitors happy to waste as much time as possible."

The same website that reported our attendance figure.

I think Westley wrote the match report. Either that or his bitterness and snidey tone are catching. His comments after the match were his typical excuses and backhanded compliments about our play. No acceptance of blame himself, mind.

Quite funny how they have the nerve to call us time wasters after their antics here in October.

I'm guessing their match report didn't make mention of the blatant penalty we should've had at 2-0? Or the fact that they didn't really create a clear-cut chance all game other than that one of Eldings?

Oh the irony from their fans having a constant pop at Woods, and just what we were saying in our group re their antics at the KM
