Big game away against tough opposition and 3 valuable league points up for grabs. Stevenage will be no pushover.
So, what do we think?
Looking forward to going myself. Been a long time since ive been, nice away end from what i recall with good view and acoustics.
I hope to see a fair few Rovers there too as its not too far down the A1.
Its an over used cliche but i will take a point now. Although given the away form maybe its the day we set a new club record!

Would love it if we scored in the last minute to win the match, scored by James Coppinger on his 300th appearance for Rovers, in front of our fans, and breaking the record! :scarf: :rtid:

Here here.
Im excited, know a few boro fans and have been to watch them on the odd occassion in the last 2 years (when Rovers werent playing of course) they are a half decent side, quite similar to ourselves in that they are a physically dominant side who make it tough for their opponents. Nice little ground Broadhall way and the home side do like to make some noise.
I reckon it will be 1-1 or we might just nick it.
-
think this week will be too much for the players and fans, either a bore draw or a win to the hosts unfortunately.
-
Think it will be draw either 0-0 or 1-1 nothing excellent but gets us the undefeated record
-
Thats my concern red Army. The off-field politics will detract from the team attitude on the day and it will all prove an unnecessary distraction from the job in hand.
Hope my concerns are unfounded and the Cpl can stir the lads in to a rip roaring away win in front of the Rovers Hoard!
We've come a long way this season to falter now.
Always believe in Rob Jones......................
Hes indestructible..................................
-
I think our extra quality & flair will see us come on top in this one, expect Copps, Hume & Cotts to be the difference with the big lads canceling eachother out on set pieces.
-
As long as we don't lose I'll be pleased. My mate reckons we'll beat em cos he says they've been naff at home lately, so never know.
-
Hope the guys will go out and show us that they can do it without saunders, wud love the 3 points but wud be happy with a draw against a tough side and to get the record :rtid:
-
Will take a point to be honest! Real test of character.
-
Seeing as I work nearly opposite the Stevenage ground it will be interesting to see what improvements have taken place over the summer as there seemed to be a lot of work taking place at the ground.
-
Easy win, steady away.
-
Stevenage are one of quite a few teams in this league (like ourselves) who are currently struggling at home whilst enjoying success away. However I've got a bad feeling we will fail to break that record and go 12 unbeaten, and fall in this game. And I felt this before Saunders left, so it's nothing to do with that.
-
Are we gonna sing anything in recognition of breaking the record should we manage it?
f**king monumental achievement if we do - surely deserves something.
-
i cant wait.
Been there a few times; always a bit nary though.

I'm looking forward to going. It'll be the first time I've been. Love away days and can see us putting in a performance. Lads still sound up for promotion to me.
