Thought he was going to break serve a few minutes ago. Would have been in a hell of a position then!

First break of serve.
Can Murray fight back from it?

I see the scotch kitson's lost again.

Again? He won the last grand slam, as everyone seems to have quickly forgotten. Wonder how many were dissing him when we won an Olympic gold......

What's a real shame is that people aren't able to enjoy and appreciate the fact that one of the game's greatest talents is British,

The real shame is that some people take a bit of light hearted banter far too seriously.

Undoubtedly, the biggest shame of the lot is the use of the word "banter" by anyone over the age of 15.

And here's me thinking 'banter' is something you either possess or lack! Andy Murray certainly didn't lack it when he came out with his anti-England jibe! Unless of course he was being serious..............................

Can't believe people still bang on about that.

I believe Andy Murray's anti-England remark was about as serious as my anti-Andy Murray remark.
It was just a bit of  ban.. a teasing remark.

His anti-England remark was an in-joke with his mate Tim Henman. The press had a mass w**k over it.

It is also a light hearted joke regarding him being Scottish when he loses, and British when he wins.

Can't believe some people still have a mass w**k over it.

I did. Did you notice his Union Jack wrist bands where blue and white minus the red bit in the St Georges cross? I maybe nit picking there but I thought that was a big statement, same kinda thing as The Welsh lot not singing the national anthem.

You should probably ask Stella McCartney...

....hang on, McCartney...that sounds suspiciously Scottish.

Maybe we should ask her to design Rovers a new kit. Probably end up having blue and white stripes. Mind you, we might get our blue jockeys third kit but it'd have a white x instead of gold.

Nudga, did you live under a rock last summer, pal?

There was an Olympics on and those Union Jacks were everywhere.

Only ones I saw had a red cross in them, apart from Andy Kitson Murray. Oh and Stella McKitson.

Couldn't agree more, I'm a big tennis fan and it infuriates me that people don't want Murray to win because he's Scottish. Everybody loves Bradley Wiggins, who was born in Belgium, Mo Farah, who's from Somalia, and half of the English cricket team who are South African! But for some reason they won't get behind somebody who is probably the second best tennis player in the world right now. I doubt we'll see another British male as good as him for a very long time, appreciate him while he's playing!

and this year we will be jizzing over Chris Froome no doubt, who's actually from Kenya, and represented them.

Wayne Rooney is from a swamp in the kingdom of far far away, and yet represents England at football. You don't hear anyone moaning about that

I do... I think he's shite every time he puts on an England shirt. Don't think I've ever seen him have a good game for his country. Overpaid tosser!
