Who's brilliant idea was this?
It's his turn to take the kids out - so he takes them for free entertainment at the Keepmoat whilst he watches the game AND has a few pints!
That is very clever, original marketing and lots more clubs will copy it very quickly. Well done Rovers.

PMSL nice one Rob and you could be very near the truth...........good idea though but would prefer to see these youngsters watching the team.

I guess there'll be some cut-off in age, a coming of age if you like, where the little tykes will be promoted from playing with Crusty the Clown to watching the game.

In which case it's a cracking idea, make them play in a room decorated with our heroes.........it can't fail. I do hope we don't have the usual apathy to this great idea and that our supporters take advantage of it. They're not used to change/improvements in matchday facilities be they be positive or negative usually. Please supporters if you want it /can use it please do don't wait until it closes down to then moan at it's loss. This seems especially interesting for 'exiles' I would have thought given the difficulty kids have in maintaining concentration during what would be a long day.

The only stumbling blocks I can see are firstly cost and secondly uptake. Cost is cost is cost, however with regards to the second, I hope it's given time to establish itself, things like this often do start slowly then boom once it's proved itself over time.

Exactly the 'take up' of a good initiative would be my only concern. The more that use these facilities the cheaper it should be.
Incidentally would the creche be available for visiting supporters too and would it be 'no colours'? :) This could increase the amount of away support too if marketed correctly.
