Apparently he got an 10% discount from his sentence

I did n`t know you could use club card points in Crown Court  :lol:

I'm still a bit puzzled over the sentencing. Big Chris coughed and held his hand up for being a knob. Wifey fought it,  claimed not guilty,  wasted public money and police/CPS/lawyers time,  etc,  and they get the same amount of bird. How's that work?

For a start, Huhne cost the CPS far more in his case. He raised no end of objections before finally pleading guilty.

For 2 Huhne was taking the f**king piss by contesting the prosecution, while Pryce had a valid defence (albeit one found to be wrong).

In normal circumstances, Huhne would have got a far bigger sentence than Pryce for clearly being the key one at fault in the whole she-bang. But he got a slightly reduced sentence for (finally) pleading guilty and not making the Court a laughing stock by dragging a pointless case on.

Think on. When Gorgeous Nick was winking at the Electorate in the Leaders' Debates, who'd have thought that 2 of his 3 closest political colleagues (Huhne and Laws) would have been criminals, and the other (Cable) would keep f**king schtum for three years about the economic catastrophe that the Tories were being allowed to oversee before finally locating where his gonads were? I bet all them daft gets who voted for Clegg in 2010 will be rushing to do the same in 15, eh?

I didn't realise the machinations leading up to the court appearance seeing as they are a pair of t**ts I couldn't bring myself to give a shit about.

I'd secretly hoped they'd both get 5 years.

Huhne is a bell end of the first degree. I realised that when I saw a picture of his car on the TV - number plate H11HNE.

It would have been a lot cheaper just to get a spray can and write "I AM A COCK" on the bonnet.
