Cadeby Inn.
I haven't been there in absolutely years.
It's now decked out all posh like inside but still the old Cadeby Inn look. We only went for a quick cheeky bar meal. However, it's now gone all Masterchef with the menu.
I took the cheaper option with it being my first visit and went for Pie and Chips. The Yorkshireman was clearly at the fore here on choice and price.
Beef and Ber Pie. 10/10.
Chips. 12/10. Proper big and very very brown. They were stacked up like a little log cabin too. These were 'chow nectar'
Dauphinoise Root Veg. 10/10. God knows what they did with that little mound of veg, but that was very tasty.
The only trouble was I could have eaten it twice, but Mrs CR informs me 'it's better not to leave the restaurant feeling like you're going to shit a calf' or words to that effect. She may have a point, as I feel proper good and not stuffed.
May I recommend that the fella's on here treat their ladies or gents (for some of you) to an evening meal here. The only other place I know that does food ala Masterchef is Mt Pleasant, but that bad boy is dear. Good for the special occasion or the hope of a bit of 'how's yer father' later in the bedroom.
Anyway I'm giving it an official VSC rating of 'Double Nice'

Cussy I went to Cadeby a couple of months ago and actually complained about the meal I thought it was very very bland tasteless and cold, shame as me n the missis loved the place and used to go regularly when courting.......some nice laybys round that area
