I suppose that would be logical but I did seem to recall reading it would be a local Brewer like Imperial / Axholme / Glentworth / Concertina etc

I agree -should be tied in with a local brewery - Doncaster Brewery do make some good and varied beers

I don't think it is Tetleys.  It's too light in colour for that.

I'm happy to do a blindfolded taste test,  if anyone cares to set that up.
