Title: Parking Eye Advice Needed

Advice required from anybody who has been in a similar position to mine.
Basically I got a parking charge from Parkingeye for parking in a local car park to me. Chose to ignore as was the popular advice on all searches done on the subject. This seemed to be good advice as did not hear anything for about 2 months. But have now received a letter stating that they have moved the charge over to debt collecting company who are requesting the money now and also threaten court if not paid. Again the general view is ignore.  Has anybody else been in a similar situation and what was the outcome. Thanks for any help.
