Here's the heads up for anyone who hasn't been made aware of this lady yet!

Absolutely brilliant, seen her 4 times myself and she is playing Sheffield City Hall on Friday September the 5th.

Niiiiiice

Never thought I was a jazz fan, and I don't think I am, however I can't stop playing this older song, and it's on my fitness shuffle thingy.

I give this Caro Emerald 'A Night Like This' an official VSC music rating of 9/10

Cussie, I was exactly the same fella!

If you get the chance, check out some of her stuff on youtube from the album "deleted scenes from the cutting room floor" Some of it is more bordering reggae/ blues but its class!

Starting to think I must be getting old!!!!

Liked the Niiiccce at the start of your post..... You just missed off "Welcome to Jazz club"  The fast show eh?

When I was a student me and my mates used to pay 50p to get in a big barn of a pub called the Earlsdon Tavern (I think!) in Coventry. Beer was good, and they had different jazz acts on every week. And we saw some right chuffing belters. Some really famous names. By the end of the evening with the beer flowing we all loved jazz :)  It was always a good night out. The walk home after was a bit of a pisser though.
