It seems that Port Vales assistant manager who has no experience as a manager is the favourite for the poisoned chalice. No one with any credibility wants the job :)
-
Robert Page (assuming that's who you're on about) is an ex-player though. I think they'd be better off with him than Morgan to be honest, they somehow got even worse under that thug.
-
Cant understand that, something seriously wrong here, because they are MASSIVE!
-
Southgate was linked with the job but has dropped out due to financial constrants could be funny to see what happens next season they may see that they are no longer massive
-
Have they approached Dean Windyarse yet?
I think that would make my year.
-
Have we got a spare manager at the KM to help them out, what about Willo ?
-
At this rate they will be bringing Nigel Spackman out of retirement......
-
I think the next two on the list are the tramp that lives in a cardboard box on John Street and then the office cat :)
-
Latest talk is that Appleton is being lined up as Blades new boss.
-
The Assistant Manageress at Decathlon Sports on the big roundabout near Bumhole Lane has to be in with a shout.

Now that would keep the Good Samaritans on overtime. :suicide:

Then there's that old woman who walks up and down West St. An ex-Wendie would do well there too and be welcomed with open arms ;)

Give over! It took 2 years for Danny Wilson's cover to be blown.
-
Brian the Blade the obvious choice and the only person daft enough to take the job
-

True forgot about Danny the Wendie Rob.
-
Robert Page coach at Port Vale is the latest person to be linked with the Blades. All these apparent suitors but no one takes the bait, do they find out something so terrible that they have to run away from the job, quicker than a chip butty being thrown from the top of BL.
-
Dave Bassett & Wally Downes? Keith Harris & Orville?
-
Chas & Dave, Bonnie and Clyde, Laurel and Hardy etc
-
They need to slash the wage budget and put together a team of grafters capable of dragging their way out of L1.
If I was Mr. McCabe I'd be camping outside Dean Saunders' gaff.

Totally agree with you
-
Renee and Renato. They'd be quicker and more mobile than the Blades front line last season.
-
Blade fan at work reckons they want to slash the wage budget to 2-3mil. No wonder noone wants the job!

You've hit the nail on the head there Mike
-
I've been saying for a while they should go for Saunders. Perfect fit IMO. Cuts wage budget, ex-blade, plays hoofball...
-
Sorely tempted to go over there and start a 'Bring Back Blackwell' thread.
-
Please do it! I miss the days when they had blackwell, Barnsley had simon davey and wendies had laws. Radio sheff has never been as entertaining since those three clowns left south Yorkshire! Miss it!
-
Ah. Go on then.

Well done, they're biting like good 'uns and they're that thick they haven't cottoned on yet lol
-
Funny as f**k ...........hook, line and sinker. Perhaps that should read SUNK.
-
Perhaps the next Blades manager will be the Scarlet Pimpernel. They seek him here, they seek him there, they seek him everywhere :woohoo:

Somerset, must be Yeovil. I forgot, can't be them they beat the Blunts in the semis play offs. That must have really hurt their egoes, being beaten by a little team in cider drink county.
