Title: England u21 v Denmark u21
Post by: RobTheRover on June 08, 2013, 05:50:36 pm
Awful performance.  2-0 down in a must win game.  On paper this is a very talented side.

I think its time Stuart Pearce packed his bags.  EngU21 were dire at the Keepmoat v Greece, and they still look as bad.  Just go, Pearce.  You dont have a clue

Not watching, but I think they are playing Norway rather than Denmark. They're definitely losing though!!

First it would be good if you got opposition correct , it's Norway . But when pearce has been denied half his squad what do you expect, the rest have sent all their eligible players . Norway called 4 from full squad from last night. We could have had Walcott and oxlade chamberlain amongst others .

I'm glad you're not the FA's secretary.

"Players are eligible for the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Championship if they were born on or after 1 January 1990"

Theo Walcott: born, March 16, 1989

You better take it up with his mother and Pearce who both commented about him not being there

Apart from Wilshere being injured, there's nothing wrong with this team.

Welbeck
Ox Henderson Zaha
Wilshere Rodwell
Rose Jones Caulker Walker
Butland

I remember years ago when Sheffield Utd were playing Liverpool and the manager was asked. "How will you combat John Barnes" To which he replied. "Easy. We will get him to play in an England shirt!"

He's not there because he's not eligible.

Pearce criticised Walcott's historic record of Under 21 appearances. Walcott's mum defended this historic record.

Oops, I knew I should have been paying a little bit more attention.

Anyway, at risk of causing yet another diplomatic incident, its all that way on, int it.

The point about 3 players coming in from the senior squad who played yesterday probably says more about the level of Norwegian football at the moment, or the faith the senior squad's coach has in young talent.

We don't take it seriously enough, other year mata won World Cup with sprain and then year after he was with under 21s in their tournament.
Wellbeck, jones, chamberlain, rodwell should've all been there.

It's interesting to note the differences between the approaches of the English FA and their German, French and Italian counterparts.

Don't think so unless they introduce 4 points for a win especially for us.

That's the third bizarre post tonight from you Mr Bagayoko. Have you started a campaign or something?
