Done Pete. enjoyed it - as ever.
Quick Q: is it possible for the Basel 'A' team to ever be drawn against Basel II (the U 21's) in a cup match? And what would happen if they were ever both in the same league?
Cheers

I think there's rules in place to stop the II teams getting promoted or something, the German lot are forbidden from competing above the third tier for example.

Hi Bob
Yes, Red J is right. Basel are only allowed to enter one side in the Swiss Cup. Also in the league I found out that the U21s can only play up to Erste Liga promotion Level (3rd Flight) This should stop there ever being the ridiculous situation of Basel v Basel II in the league

Thanks chaps. Must be a bit of a git though when you win the league and are banned from promotion. Suppose the clubs finishing behind them wouldn't mind much though. But if that's the way it's run, I hope to hell we never become someone else's feeder team.
Cheers

Come off it, Bob.
You know full well we've already done that to Oldham. ;)
