Radio Sheffield are havin a special on the new blunts manger! !!!!! Are we a joke to this radio station small clubs again Paul walker biggest tosser going he makes all the decisions what game's we listen to and in what order can we complain about this show?

I dunno why everyone listens to it when it pisses them off that much. You'd think by now after all the threads about Radio Dee-Dah that we all know it favours the sheffield side(s) (more so the blunts) cos its a higher percentage of listeners will tune in. It's a ratings game, just like a TV channel fighting for ratings in a way.
I don't know why it annoys people so much, they'd only have information on us that we discuss on here first anyway in true media/reporter fashion. Could the VSC not tap into a regular spot on tracks FM to update fans on all things Rovers. It would be good for all involved and probably get more memberships signed up.
... Added bonus that quite a few involved on here have got faces for radio too!!

TBF they don't have the budget to cover the Championship sides ;)

Just listen to another radio station then or just accept it because its getting boring with how many people are still whinging about radio Sheffield.

This. I bet other clubs just think all of our fans moan about everything.

Whether you want to accept it or not, they'll receive many more calls form fans of the Sheffield clubs than they do from Donny, Chesterfield, Dingles or Rotherscum. They have done some great features over the years with a brilliant programme when we first reached the Championship, looking back at highlights of the journey we've been on.
Football Heaven & PoG are what the callers make them. If everybody who moans about Rovers not getting enough coverage put that effort into calling the shows instead it would negate the problem.

It is Radio 'Sheffield' after all

I don't really care about our level of coverage on RS.
I listen to grumble on grumble to have a laugh at folks like Brian the Blade etc, and Blades fans ringing in wanting their latest manager out, because even if they're in the top 4 they've just had a bad game that the caller hasn't been to.....

You can't deny that the year they went down though they were creaming at the thought of a "miraculous" survival for United, how wonderful and incredible it would be if they made it and not a thought for us.

Radio BBC Sheffield have been banned from the SUFC Press Comference today. :clapping:

I've seen that tweeted somewhere but can't find any other evidence of it. Amazing if true.

Paul Walker tweeted that, since been removed.

Was quite amusing listening to interview with Julian Winter, suggesting it had taken so long to appoint a manager because of the number of candidates, 3 rounds of interviews etc etc; he failed to mention the number of managers that turned them down before Weir.
Sheff U were probably afraid that point was going to be raised by Radio Sheffield, and that's why they banned them from the press conference.

Don't see why the Blades having a special on RS is cause to get so annoyed. The Blades are the biggest/2nd biggest (depending on who you ask) supported club in the region by far, and a bunch of whingy bas**rds to boot. RS know they can fill an hour or 2 with Blunts fans calling in about a new manager. Can anyone honestly say Rovers fans would be able to fill even one hour of a phone in when PD was appointed? Because I don't think we could at all.
As for Paul Walker, he was apparently banned for the way RS went about reporting the story behind the Blunts' troubles with finding a manager, which was clearly embarrassing for the club. Not ITK or anything, just what I heard. And I also find it laughable how many of our fans know for a 'fact' he's a Blunt. How? Most of the Blunts would swear blind he's an Owl (he does take his lad to Hillsborough on his days off), so somebody's wrong somewhere.

So, if the Blunts banned RS from the press conference, did RS cancel the Sheff U Manager Sprecial?
