Now that local minnows Rotherham have just been promoted to league one, should they be allowed to get ideas above their station and try to get into the Championship with us big boys?
Now don't get me wrong here but would in not be a case of being cruel to be kind by stopping third tier clubs from going any higher and getting mullered every week?
I think it's time the Championship broke away and just had promotion to the Premiership, but no clubs relegated.................Thoughts?

Absolutely cracking idea that BB. Also, another little tweak to that idea, that they give any club with a manager under, say, 5ft 7 in height a 20 point head start to the season. It seems only fair.

I think your cruel to be kind comment is spot on! The likes of Rotherham and their smaller neighbours Sheffield United would get eaten alive by the big boys

Thrown to the Wolves no doubt !

Nope, there`s no way back for them either, crass mismanagement whilst still in receipt of parachute payments should carry a double relegation at least :)

And all three teams mentioned will still sell twice as many season tickets as us.
In fact 3 times as many in the Blunts case and about 4 times as many in Wolves case
