I figured I might as well start this one.
Rovers team is:
Turnbull, Wabara, Husband, Furman, Jones, Duffy, Brown, Cotterill, Khumalo, Wellens, Coppinger
according to twitter.
I'm going to say 3-1 Rovers here, Brown getting 2 and Cotterill 1.
COYR!

Thought we were after a left back not a right back

Until now, I assumed Wabara was a short term replacement for Husband. That being said though, it's not like Wabara is a massively experienced player. If wikipedia is right, him and Husband have both played in 37 games, though I'm sure he's talented and will make a positive impact.
-
As I understand it, he can play at RB, LB and DC. Good signing for squad depth if so.
-
Very versatile player... just what we need in case of injuries. Let's hope he turns out to be as good as predicted.

Any Football Action ?

Plenty thanks
Chances for both sides

Ta !

Now Rovers player has gone off, anyone hearing it at the moment?

They are experiencing "difficulties" - back on air as soon as they can...

Best tweet of the match thus far:

HT #DRFC 0 Rochdale 0. Much like a 30 year marriage, the games early youthful exuberance has settled into comfortable mediocrity.

This game smacks of first season in championship with sod. All the play, Prity football, wont shoot. Striker needed so bad
-
Started off really well, then slacked off and got a bit sloppy. No one prepared to shoot. Need to get on top again and work the keeper. Syers could be on early if no improvement.

Doncaster lost their way as the half progressed there. Micky Walker sat next to me, believes Dale have had better chances. #DRFC

Rochdale's commentary working OK. Ah here's Rovers commentary.
-
There keeper keeping them in the game

Wabara gone off injured. :headbang:

We are woeful.

We are woeful.
Really? I'm not there so can't judge....
-
I'll be honest, this is the worst lucky pint thread ever
-
Hope it's just cramp. Reading the tweets (not always the best way to get your intel), it doesn't sound great. Though, as has already been said, their 'keeper is playing out of his skin.
Will be interesting to hear what those at the game have to say.

Jonesy !!
Top Scorer .... a centre back
-
Goal time
-
Get in 1-0 Khumalo
COYR
-
Lets just play him up front until we get another striker.
-
Our top scorer this season?
-
Get in! Brown+paynter 0 jones+khumalo 2
-
Even better. We have a strike partnership of Jones and Khumalo - whodathunk?
-
Job done?
I will be interested to hear comments on performance. A win is still a win though :)
-
perfomance was good at times but if i may say a bit like under SOD lots of passing not a lot happening in final third. At other times it was a bit flat though warbara was excellant
-
Duffy was poor today.
-
Real concern for me is a lack of cutting edge in attack. For all the good positions we got into, we didn't have that many efforts on goal, and when we did, we weren't clinical at all.
Don't want to sound like a doom and gloom merchant, but on the basis of the first two games, I can't see how we're going to score enough goals with the current personnel.

Poor performance tonight after a bright start, Rochdale were the better side second half & must be gutted they lost the game, even though we did create the better chances. Coppinger could have had a hat trick had it not been for the Dale keeper. Furman & Wellens put a shift in & needed to as Rochdale played the ball about well & kept it far better than us second half, getting behind us on a few occasions. Rovers on the other hand were lacklustre & looked jaded in the final 20 minutes & devoid of ideas. Coppinger was the pick of the 3 playing behind Brown, Cotterel was quiet while Duffy was as poor tonight as he was good on Saturday. On the plus side, Wabarra looked very impressive, & hopefully we can keep hold of him for longer than a month.
-
Kudos to Furman for stopping a ball on the goal line in the first half.

Agree with that. What happened to Dickov saying we would be able to play for 95 minutes. :( Turnbull looked calmer today compared to Saturday, looks a quality keeper.

Apologies about losing commentary for a short while. In the end there wasn't a problem between us and the listeners! It was the provider who thought we did so decided to call us on commentary then for some reason we got commentary of the Rotherham/Wednesday's game through our box! So turned it off and on again. As you do.
As for the game, it's a weird one. I thought they were going to nick it in the second half, they had some good chances but lacked something upfront (Where've we heard that before). Luckily, possibly our worst player on the night delivered his piece of magic with a fantastic ball in for Khumalo to score. We were good in parts but bad in others. Team needs to gel more.
I thought Wabara was quite impressive though until he got a bit tired.
