Title: TLO Doncaster vs AFC Bournemouth
Post by: IDM on August 31, 2013, 08:55:51 am
After the farce at Chalton and the disappointing result on Tuesday, it's back to league action and the last game before the international break.

A home match for the Champions vs the "also promoted" team should be a close game.  Bournemouth score quite a few, but have conceded lots on the road.  I doubt this will end goal-less.

I've got a bad feeling about today. They will feel they have a score to settle and will see us as an opportunity to start rectifying there horrible away start.
I'm going for 0-2.

I fancy a 2-1 victory to us.

Looking forward to this.  It should be a great game.

Harry Gration reckoned in his Final Score summary that Rovers were 'outplayed and outclassed'.

Hard to say when you're not there but it didn't necessarlily sound that way on Rovers Player.

I'm just having a birthday sulk. Looking forward to birthday drinks with the AFCB fans tonight... Not.

We go again. Said on Player that their goal was off-side - it sounded like nothing was going our way today, tbh.

I shall wait to find out from those that went.

We're not going to win every game, so I'm going off for pizza with my family.

He was right, we were.  Below par in all areas, Bournemouth were in control of the game.  I thought the goal was offside too, but it wasn't like we looked like scoring anyway.

The consolation is, we know that the same bunch of players can perform much better and against better opposition.

Harry was right.
And it wasn't a dodgy free kick. May not have been a booking, but it was a free kick

Very dodgy free kick, Hubby won the ball fair and square, lino gave the free kick, so how the ref came to the conclusion to book him is a mystery, West stand lino was probably the worst of the shocking lino`s we`ve had on the west side this season, seemed like he did n`t grasp what offside was!
