Hoolahoop’s plight has made me think. People who we have never met in person are so much part of our personal lives these days. The wife often accuses me of talking to my ’imaginary friends’ on here, and perhaps she’s right!
Anyway, I don’t know if I’m the only one on here who builds up an image of what fellow posters actually look like, but it might be interesting to know if anyone else does.
Here’s a few to start with!
Hoolahoop = Les Battersby
B.S.T = Grant Mitchell
Bob G = David Niven
Sandy Lane = Sandy Toxvig
These are just off the top of my head, I’m sure there’s more to follow!

However it's a bit like 'the Voice' on Here in that you don't have physical 1st impressions......what you read is generally what you get on here 'laid bare'.
Yes they are friends.......it's impossible to be a member of this forum over many years and not build up friends as well as the odd enemy.

Sometimes I think BST reminds me of Alexi Sayle. I imagine BST was taken on holiday as a boy to Czechoslovakia to look at tractor factories too.

It's funny that I don't usually wonder what people on here look like because in many cases they have put up pics of themselves on here or on Twitter. But this thread did have some which made me smile.
So here are my thoughts:
BST - Russell Crowe (.. 'cause of his potty mouth)? ;-)
Bob - Mr. Bean (in looks only)
BB - I'll stick with Walter Mitty, so the old actor Danny Kaye ?
Hoola - Jim Carrey (in looks only)
Me - pic below from a year ago in Italy (with my son in foreground) and family in background. (Had a pic from this year but thought I looked fat, so you get the blurry one)!
Sorry had some probs uploading..

As someone who had, like most on here, enjoyed Bentley Bullet's dreams, I was pleasantly surprised to find he was actually sitting on the same row as me in the West stand.
When I first saw he him he reminded me of someone but couldn't think who and then the penny dropped.
Obviously Dave I appreciate your a younger, better looking version with a bit more hair ;-)

Funny you should say that H.R, The woman on the beauty counter at Asda thought I was Jack Duckworth when i went for the wife's Christmas present. When she asked me what I wanted and I said "Aloe Vera', she fainted!
