Sorry NY I don't no,but while on the subject of live football, someone informed me about XBMC.Unless someone can correct me,from what I can work out,it's somekind of home media setup that uses the Free links on internet.Apparently you can buy a XBMC box so you can set it up to your TV instead of laptop. It seems to have many of the channels/links already on the menu provided.I Was wondering has anyone on here used it?and what are anybodys opinions on it?Is it worth me trying it?The adverts show good HD quality with it but some say it can be hit and miss especially sports channels(just like many of the links i've used on the net).

Have you considered using a Tablet and buying an HDMI lead to link it to your TV. My tablet produces HD quality when linked to the TV.

Thanks TD,Im actually getting one for my Htc one x phone, to do just that, but when some mention this xbmc to me,I thought I would research about xbmc before buying cable/box to link my phone.Im currently toying between a cheapish HDMI cable or the bit more expensive wireless media link tv they do.  :)

I see tentative links to the Blackpool, Watford and Forest games on saturday on wiziwig.tv

There was a bloke who streamed the Watford/Donny game direct from the Sky news feed ie it wasn't being broadcast but he knew how to find it. If enough people ask nicely, or even donate something to him he might do it.

XBMC is a media centre software that you can run on a number of devices including laptops, phones, PCs and tablets.  It wont stream you something that isnt being streamed, but it does contain all the codecs to give you some compatibility with streamed matches

If you fancy a bit of a geek project, buy yourself a Raspberry Pi (google it) and install XBMC onto a SD card and off you go

At my wife's school (she's the headteacher not a child!) loads of the kids are using Raspberry Pi's in their Tech Club.
