Good luck to him. I always felt he tried his best for us but just didn't have the quality for the championship

He had the quality, he just was never fit enough to show it bar once or twice. Was bloody brilliant at Upton Park I thought.

Thought he always put in a decent shift for Rovers. Nowt wrong with his effort.

Me too.  I thought he gave as much as he could and also thought he was a decent player. Just prone to one or two too many errors.

You could see the quality in him, his touch was unreal and he didn't give it away very often. Caught out of position a lot though.

I never thought he was remotely fit when he played for us, which was why he was always out of position. Played well at West Ham though- I wonder if he thought Big Sam might sign him up?

Bit harsh he didn't force JoC out he just played football and I felt he put the effort in the boards decision to get McKay involved at the time was what forced the likes of JoC out and destroyed the team spirit.

O'Connor was bloody shite that season and at the end of the one before.
