Cant have been unexpected. Loss to Barnsley, and it seems every sacked managers former team ( in DRFC league ) , play DRFC next. Look on bright side, Mark Venus will be in charge, so unlikely to change things too much.

Weren't we one of the first teams to play boro after he was appointed?

We beat them just before chrimbo 2010 and beat them 2-1

We did, absolutely mental conditions to get the game on in though. Brian Stock won it at the death. To think, we thought at that point we were going to launch an assault on the Championship playoffs... :laugh:

Here's an omen - I was drinking round Barnsley that night, and it was a Friday.

We play them this friday.... and guess where I'm drinking on a works leaving do......

It was about minus 5 that game - the Boro 'keeper was complaining to the ref for most of the second half that the six yard box was freezing up.
