Title: I've had a dream
Post by: Bentley Bullet on October 23, 2013, 06:18:46 pm
The setting was superb. The atmosphere was great and the crowd was noisy. The view was first class and it was so warm we all had our coats off and on the back of our seats. What’s more we got in for nowt, and the stewards were there to pour us beer while we watched the game! Sounds Too good to be true, but the various screens in Bentley Rhino’s were dead vivid, and made for a wonderful atmosphere.

Just before kick off a stunning Thai girl walked into the pub, and sat right next to me. I kept thinking to myself, please don't get an erection, please don't get an erection...but she did. Fortunately she buggered off and sat with a Leeds fan, who, thinking his luck was in, bought her a pint of beer and a bag of crisps. He hadn’t realised that his ‘pull’ just wanted to eat, drink and be Mary.

The game kicked off and Rovers immediately attacked Middlesbrough. The home team’s defence looked disorganised and Rovers got a corner following Coppinger’s mazy dribble forcing the full back to clear the danger. Coppinger quickly took the corner and Chris BROWN headed home superbly after 2 minutes.

Managerless Boro looked rudderless as they struggled to contain Rovers, and were lucky not to concede a penalty when Robinson was tripped in the area. Rovers continued to dominate throughout the half despite not increasing their lead, and looked frustrated as they walked off at half time.

H.T.  Boro 0  Rovers 1

Rovers came out second half looking confident and continued to force the game. Robinson linked up well  and fed the ball through to leave BROWN  alone in front of goal, the big striker sliding the ball into the left hand corner, for his second goal of the game (66 mins).
Boro made a triple substitution in desperation, and Paynter came on for Donny, replacing Wellens. Boro were even  more disorientated and an Oakwell style come back similar to last Saturday was not on the agenda.

Rovers pressed forward with the extra attacker. After 83 minutes Paynter burst through, being bowled over in the process. Paynter selflessly gave the ball to BROWN who smashed it home from the spot for Rovers - and his third.

Full time; Boro 0 Rovers 3

Another couple of drinks to celebrate, and then the 5 minutes walk home to bed, and another dream!

Hey Bentley, I've got the night off on Friday, do you know whether Rhino's will be showing the game, as I don't have Sky Sports anymore. Cheers.
