Sorry if this has been covered but can you pay on gate saturday? Preferably in the rovers end but if not the barnsley end? I'll sit with season ticket holding mate.. Any advice much appreciated cheers
-
Yes you can, but no concessionary prices. Those need to be bought from the Keepmoat.
-
Thanks silent
-
Any less than 3500 will be a poor following

Martin do you know how widely this has been said? I can imagine that there will be some pretty annoyed people come Saturday when they try and make kids pay full price - I know a couple of people who were planning on paying on the gate and had no idea.
-
I'm not sure Jenny! I saw something that Lee posted somewhere, it could have been on Facebook or something.
Anyway I checked with Barnsley and they said that was correct. Pay on the gate has only one price, the adult price.
-
That's disgraceful really.
-
I haven't seen it anywhere else, and I can't remember doing it at Barnsley before, but it was confirmed to me. Maybe they'll change their minds, but it's all about turnstile operators and not having to pay them for the minority concessions who pay on the day.
-
It's disgraceful and if Barnsley do go ahead with that I think at least a strong worded letter should head their way.
-
Looking on their website its the policy in the ground, not just the away end. No concessions on the turnstiles, purchase a ticket from ticket office on the day. Presumably this will be true for away fans, none have yet complained about not being able to do it, although it is probably worth checking with their TO to make sure.

I've just rung them again, they now say it's U12's and Students who can't pay on the day. Looks like Juniors and others can.
-
Is there a difference between buying a ticket at their TO tomorrow (do they have a separate away TO?) and paying at the turnstyle?

KR,
Glad to be of service! ;)
-
Suppose it could be to do with not veing able to ID someone to check if they are a junior or something?
-
To be fair, it's been on the Official site for a while...
