Title: Margaret Thatcher Day
Post by: RedRover45 on November 08, 2013, 11:12:39 pm
Apparently there is an ongoing motion in Parliament to rename August Bank Holiday in memory (sic) of that despicable disgrace for a human being. Are they taking the piss. Proper candidates like Churchill, Nelson and Wellington must be turning in their graves.

I think they should. The working class could make it a national day of protest, like a plot neet with a relevance to our times, culminating with a jolly knees up celebrating her death with fireworks and burning effigies of the old bag.

I'd be more than happy to celebrate her death.

April 1st might be an appropriate date for her.

I'd be all for a Margaret Thatcher day. She is without doubt the best Prime Minister we've had since the war. She sowed the seeds for turning us from the sick man of Europe into the fastest growing Western economy today.
