That system has failed again. When are you going to learn Paul? 4-3-3 with brown on his own is never going to work he's just not a goal threat for all he works hard. Then we play 3 holding midfielders none of which break forwards. Robinson is a complete waste of space and wabara. Poor performance again today

Where's the team gone that terrorised Wigan away from home? It's hard to believe we're watching the same team.
-
Bax, didn't go today, presumably you did? According to the BBC news website we never had a shot on target. I know the Beeb is often wrong, but is that a fair reflection?
-
I did go, we were very poor never liked like scoring and yes that's correct

Thanks.
Good point then. We really could do with beating Yeovil now, but to be honest I can't see where we're going to get another win with this team. Don't see where the goals are going to come from. 12 in 14 games, 6 of those in 3 games, leaves 6 in 11 games (I think!)

You think our stats were poor. Check out the stats from the Liverpool/Fulham game.

Wellens very nearly scored (or looked like it from where I was stood anyway) near the end, but other than that yes I agree. Had a few spells on top for about 5 minutes each but no real goal threat.

Agreed on most points. The system doesn't work. Brown is isolated and the midfield isn't adventurous enough. (Syers anyone?)
I don't agree that Robinson is a waste of space though. I just think he's being poorly utilised. He's never been a winger, so playing him there is madness. He's looked a threat when he's played through the middle.

Sheds isn't good enough. Hence why he's on loan at a League 2 club

I assume you mean Syers. That is just your opinion. Who else have we got in midfield who makes the sort of runs he makes and attempts to get goals? He's out of favour and it's best for him to play games. Just because he's in L2 currently doesn't mean he's not capable at a higher level. He proved last season he's good enough for League One for a start.

Any post with the name Frost in the title is not worth replying to.
Syers has plenty to offer as do most of this team. However I agree with a previous post that this team doesn't bear any resemblance to the side that should've won at Wigan, battered Charlton and beat Blackburn, although it's mostly the same players in a similar set up

Was a 4-2-3-1 really today. Not much width. That system is one where you need to keep good position of the football. We don't.
