Will/could JR just sell his shares to SC?
-
He'd have to offer them to existing shareholders first I believe.
-
He already has.

He already has what. Sold them to SC or offered them to other shareholders.
-
Offered.
-
We know what the next move will be then don't we.
-
I believe the shares could only be sold to Sequentia or another party with the agreement of the two others .
Please takeover the Belles while we are at it . Make us a full blooded Community club and further establish our credence with families.
-
No Brian, he only needs to offer them to existing shareholders. After that a "Dutch Auction" can ensue.
-
He already has.
No he hasn't.
-
He would sell his shares and his LOANS if there was a suitable person as per his interview
-
Absolutely correct. If thats not offering SM what is?. From his own mouth!
-
My old grandmother used to say, ' believe nothing that you hear, and half of what you see'
-
So SM are you saying that all the interviews with JR are just a load of B%$&&cks?
-
I think Wild Rover is replying to Bobjimwilly's post that he has offered them to existing shareholders rather than saying he has already sold them. But if he has already offered them then the VSC (as a shareholder) should have been informed and we haven't.
-
well i heard it and saw it, so where does that sit with Grandmother.

Correct.
In Ryans own words ( sort of ) As pre Ravenrovers Quote. Maybe he made the offer via the interview, but its plainly there. Maybe he deems VSC not suitable, or an irrelevence as i assume he values his shares and loans at more than VSC can pay.

An offer has to involve a price - have you heard what it is, because I haven't?
And whether JR thinks the VSC irrelevant is just as irrelevant, he has to abide with the rules and offer to ALL existing shareholders, including the VSC.
-
So, he has made the offer to sell, there in his interview, VSC should now go forward and see where the land lays.
Price wise, not that difficult to stab at. 3 million shares, Quid a throw, 3 million in loans plus bit of interest. say 6.5 million.

Doesn't work like that, it has to be a formal offer, not an offhand comment in an interview on a local radio station.
-
Not really, IF VSC were interested , then THEY make formal offer for shares etc. VSC know they are for sale

We don't know they're for sale at all, we haven't been properly informed. There has to be something formal, in writing, that that Board can discuss.
-
OK, Have it your way. Were you informed of the 2 other shareholders share sale? (Milton and collet was it ), who sold to SC. If you were, where was the acknowledgement of this event to your membership?. When did Board meet to discuss ? what price required to buy? What decision taken?. Just interested you see.

As far as I'm aware we weren't - if any such sale has indeed been made. I've only seen it mentioned as having happened in one newspaper article that I personally don't place a lot of faith in the veracity of.

Careful lads SM & his buddies can't be wrong even if JR did tell you himself Wild Rover.

Because i wasn't being sarcastic ;)

Dont drag me into squabbles, i asked the questions i did simply out of interest, questions based on Glyn's assertion that Ryan had to "Submit" a for sale declaration, as opposed to just saying it.
Regarding whether or not the sale of Milton shares actually happened, i suppose if they are now listed as shareholders of "Patiencform", then it must have. Perhaps someone with more know how can find out.
