The club is going to end up in new hands. What are the VSC going to do now to make sure it's right for the club and if not how will they stop this happening? That's what they were set up for isn't it?

There's a Bramall out petition now... I'm not sure how the 100 signatures they need is going to be any more representative than they claim the VSC isn't though.

That's the thing about all of this. Most of Bramall's unpopularity seems to be with the younger lot.
Most of the fans singing anti-Bramall songs on Saturday looked to be no older than 21, many younger.

Unfortunately a lot of people are shouting first thinking later. It's prudent to think first and make your actions mean something. Which not many are doing at all really.

That's the thing about all of this. Most of Bramall's unpopularity seems to be with the younger lot.

All the fans around me certainly didn't join in and in fact were a little disappointed in JR's antics. The comment ' Looks like pantomime season is here was shouted out'. Must admit we were all in the seasoned supporter bracket.

A lot in this case. He wasn't born in 1997 so can't be expected to understand why those in the "seasoned supporter bracket " can look back on that experience and want assurances that history cannot repeat itself.

Do you really think a 15 year old will have read and assimilated all that has been said recently, and have had the knowledge of what has happened at DRFC in the JR era, and be worldly wise enough to consider this action - enough to raise such a petition? Or do you think it is a knee jerk reaction?

I've revealed plenty in the past that has happened or is in the process of happening and got told i was talking rubbish, mainly by you. Also Hoola & Daggers will confirm i was telling them and others these events would happen as long as 2 years ago!
Personal? not really i'm just pointing out that you aren't as big a player and the knower of all things you think and make out that you are when you talk down at people in your arrogant condescending manner.

SM, I would urge you to simply rise above it. I think the VSC's position has been made clear enough as anti-uncertainty, rather than pro- or anti- anyone or anything else, and some people are simply choosing to ignore it and trying to score a few cheap points. Just leave them to it and they'll soon hopefully tire of it. By getting into pointless debates and stooping to their level, though, you do demean yourself from your position as a director of the VSC.

Oh I bet thats a joy for everyone in the pub when you walk in. Talk about kettle and pot. I didn't wish to comment but I've followed your threads quite a lot and your the one that comes across as rude, arrogant and ignorant. SM's replies never seem to be personal unlike yours. He is entitled to his opinion as you are yours.....but yours are the correct ones because somebody told you 50 years ago. :thumbdown:
