Title: Pit house fire place/oven

In a fit of nostalgia I have tried to find a pic of one of those cream coloured enamelled Fire ranges that every body had in their home,has antbody got a link to one?

My old gran always used to have a pot of tea brewing on the hotplate of one of those things, everything went in that oven for fuel

Its not what you want I know but this is a 20s model

I searched for open fire cooking range on Google images and there are loads but none that matched the one in our old house "that did everything"

Edit .... this is VERY close to what I remember but we did have a "thing" that the kettle could sit on and also store the Poker etc

The second one was what we had in our house in Rosso when i was growing up.

Thanks very much Donny Wolf the second one was  about 95% similar to my Mums,they had a moveable trivet on each side of the fire which you could swivel on and off mainly to boil your Copper Kettle on.
