Except for those of us who bought them as soon as they were released back in November! Still got Doncaster to Brighton return for £30 so not too bad.

Top Tip - if there's 4 of you, you can get 4 for price of 2 on London-Brighton leg on the Southern(?) trains website.

Still find it ludicrous that I can travel to London from Yorkshire on the train and it be cheaper than Doncaster to Leeds.

The Market moves in mysterious ways...

A decade back, I heard an interview with the Transport Minister of Germany. He said (with a barely-suppressed smirk) how grateful the rest of the world was for the experiment that the UK had undertaken in privatising its rail system in the way it did. It meant that everyone else had learned the lessons without having to deal with the abortion of a system that we have.
