Really going through house and rooting out lots of stuff we have hogged thinking it would come in for summat !
I have 3 maybe 4 Camcorders of differing ages and don't want to skip them so does anyone know of a Charity or similar who may be able to make use of them ?
I will be able to supply Battery Leads Cases and perhaps even the original Manual ? Any suggestions
I just use a Flip now - so convenient

Just take em to a charity shop?

Maybe a school or college can make some educational use of them?

Fascinating Wolf.
A tiny example of the acceleration of technological change over the past 30 years. In that time, we've had cine film, cams with big VHS tapes, small digital micro tapes, DVD burners and finally flash memory. A complete change in technology every 5-7 years, each one vastly increasing the ease and capacity of recording.
20 years ago, whilst studying for my PhD, I remember hearing a prof tell a visitor that he was currently running a computer simulation he said that in the past hour, the computer had carried out more formal calculations than the entire human race had performed in all of recorded history up to 1950.
There's a similar thing with cameras. I read somewhere recently that there have been more seconds of moving image recorded in the last half decade than in all of history prior to that. It is fascinating from a socio-historical point of view. And it also makes you wonder what other technologies are going to see similar step changes as we rush towards Von Neumann's Singularity.
