Players as good as Tamas become available at our level for a reason.

Keegan at CH? Coppinger at RB? Will be interested to see how they line up

Someone tweeted that tamas got smacked in town Saturday night, wonder if Gerrard went looking for him.

Jesus wept. Someone at this club needs to sacrifice a virgin to the god of centre halves. We've obviously upset the mardy bas**rd.

Dickov said in his post match interview that Tamas out for 4-6 weeks with broken checkbone. Basically he is done now for rest of season.

Meite also subbed at half time. Was he injured?

Could happen to any player Gaz.  Do we have insurance for such events?

Looks like we need to bring in another 2 quality defenders. Question is can we afford it?

Can we afford not to?  Hopefully Meite will be ok - was there anything obvious with him?

It may just of been because he was having an off game. McCollough looked good when he came on though.

He was feeling his leg for most of the first half. Looked like hamstring.

Wasn't having the best of games but no obvious injury to me

Hopefully it's not too bad and he will be ok with a few days rest. It's a worry though, obviously is far from ideal having to change 3 of the back four we have had since jan

5 injured CB's! Has some one at the club killed a flock of Robin's?

Summat about us and centre half injuries. We had 4-5 out in winter 2010, when we brought Eliott Ward in. We had 5 injured in winter 2011 when we collapsed from promotion contenders to just managing to stay up. We had 3 first choice centre halves out this December. Now we've got the first 5 out.

If we stay up because of that penalty decision tonight, it'll be the only bit of luck we've had all season. And if we stay up despite these defensive injuries, it'll be a superb achievement.

Dickov said he hopes Meite will be fine for Saturday, brought him off as a precaution due to a hamstring strain he felt in the first half. He hopes to have a CH in to replace Tamas by the weekend too.

Nightmare we are having with defensive injuries.

If Tamas is out 4 to 6 weeks then we need two players in on loan to ensure we have enough cover in defence. We need cover at RB and CH. If it's a broken Jaw then a mask is no good if a cheek bone injury then a mask could be used.

Have you tried playing with a tight hamstring mush?  Mask does no good at all.
