Been off the scene for a few days, so I've only just heard that Frankie Knuckles has gone to the great Jackmaster gig in the sky.

Him, Daryll Pandy and Manny Scretching (Nitro Deluxe) all gone in a couple or three years. The gods of early House all shuffling off.

Yes, sadly, Frankie is no more.

Is it making you feel old BST? I'm 'only' 39 and it's starting to make me feel old that people that were big or influential in my formative years are starting to fall away.

Copps being around for 10 years makes me feel old too. It doesn't seem 10 minutes! :lol:

Aye,  I saw it on Wednesday or Thursday. He was the sound of late 80s house for me.
