Was Anton Johnson sniffing around us at some point? Seems to ring a bell.
Surprised Haslam at Mansfield isn't on there as well.

Yes I'm sure he was but can't remember in what capacity! Somebody will remember

He certainly was, and we were all hailing him as our potential saviour, it just shows you have to be careful what you wish for

Johnson was certainly a dodgy character, but I thought his involvement in Scarborough had ended long before they went belly-up.
The photo they use for us makes it look as though Uncle Ken was successful in his plan to burn down the stand. I take it they've got one from when the stand was accidentally blown up after we moved out.

Didn't he have a meeting with us at ??? Earl of Doncaster ?? Promised us the world along with a manager who took two teams down in same season

I remember meetings at the Earl of Doncaster. Think most of us thought he was going to be our knight in shining armour during those dark, dark days. Wasn't Dave Cusack going to be the manager?

Thinking of the present situation at Leeds, I'm sure a sizeable number of their fans will be happy to see Cellino take over the club if it means farewell to GFH and Ken Bates. That was the situation we were in back in 1998 when anyone seemed better than Richardson.

I said the same thing myself last week.

As the Leeds Trust mentioned to me on a few occasions that they needed a 'Dragonslayer' to get rid of Uncle Ken, but would you put your long term faith in a dragonslayer? It now looks like they needed a dragonslayer to get rid of the dragonslayer and will be needing another one shortly. Is there that many to go around?

Red handed...

The Brighton owners didn't make the list? Really? What about the owners of Meadowbank Thistle? MK Dons and Chester's owners are/were pretty detestable too? All of those were worse than two or three foreign owners with fraud convictions.

Surely you'd need a dragonslayerslayer to get rid of a dragonslayer? And a dragonslayerslayerslayer to get rid of the dragonslayerslayer?
Carry on...
