to hull what would you all think is a fare price for us to be asking
-
Cod & chips twice? And a tub of mushy peas ;)
-
1mill with add on's would be impossible to turn down. we'd probably sell for 500k tho
-
150k
-
Depends what it's gonna cost us to get Ashley Cole in. I believe he's looking at offers?
-
we could probably afford Cashley.....
....for a one hour training session.
-
if he does go id like to see Joeseph Mills back as a replacement, i liked him during his loan spell and shouldnt cost too much

I was thinking about Joe Mills earlier today. He was playing for Shrewsbury this season which baffled me. He was decent when we had him in the champ.

enda stevens
-
400k with add ons such as after appearances, and future sell on percentage.
-
2 pints of larger and a packet of crisps
-
1 mil at least
-
Sorry boomstick, but I don't know what he has done to justify a million quid transfer fee. He wasnt that much of a standout player for us, and represents a gamble at that price.
-
Name me many better young English left backs?
-
A million minimum. Sod it.
-
Gibbs, Bertrand, shaw, baker, cresswell, that's without doing any research, he won't be anywhere near the top 20 English left backs.
-
Name me many better young English left backs?
If you honestly believe that then you genuinely understand nothing of the game. Absolutely ridiculous.
-
250K with add on's for appearance and staying in the PL and possibly a pre-season friendly chucked in as well

Where to start there are loads better, Husband is good but not as good as some fans think he is.

3 teams all with Premier League ambitions (one already there) are after the lad. These are the experts, not some people on an internet forum. If they believe he has the ability to one day be playing in the Premier League then we can surely ask for a million, which would be nothing for a PL English left back.

Funny that, because that story came out in the DFP about 48 hours after someone (a person on an internet forum) put it on here.
As I've said elsewhere, I'll believe it when he's put pen to paper with one of these clubs.
-
He is young lots of potential,it surprises me how much grief he gets on this board, god help luke m if he plays next season

That's hulls problem, they can easily afford it. 1 million plus 50% sell on, or no deal.
Hull will be buying the possible potential husband has.
If they don't like it fair enough, we can't lose. Either we walk away with 1 million plus, or we keep a decent player
-
Husband will be in the driving seat if he wants to go , Hull etc .. Know how were placed financially so , I don't expect a big money sale modest amount of no more than £250k with a sell on would the only option to make any money long term but either way it's another off the books and cheaper alternative to come in .
-
Go on then, Where are we placed financially?
-
A cheaper alternative!!!! Husband is still on his first professional contract isn't he? I can't imagine he is one of the top earners at the club, probably the opposite, and any decent standard full-back would probably cost us more. I can't help but wonder if that is why this story has come out at this time?
-

£17.10 but if he's got a Young Person's Railcard it's only £11.30
-
Every other young English player gets overpriced. Ask for 1.5 million minimum.
-
Go on then, Where are we placed financially?
Don't bother asking him for any proof.
I'm still waiting to find out how he knew we didn't have a pot to piss in last time we went down.
-
Husband is very unreliable defensively at championship level, cost us a few goals with his individual mistakes this season, and the premiership is far more unforgiving.
-
Yes he cost is a few goals but he is young and will only get better
-

Not if he is still under contract with not relegation clause. Surely the club has control then?
-
He was inconsistent at best last year, he had some stormers and he dropped some howlers. Premier league clubs will surely want more of a finished article. A few years ago this was Kyle Bennett, our "hot prospect" with pace flashes of brilliance and potential future ability. Now Im not tarring Hubby with the same brush at all. But when all is said and done, he didnt even prove himself to be a top championship player last year. The fact is he was an inconsistent full back in a relegated squad. He may have age on his side, but for me, the prudent thing for a bigger club to do is to make an agreement in principle alá Will Hughes with Liverpool. If Hubby is going to he a good player, he should piss League one next year and be a standout player.
-
In my personal opinion; Husband looked very good up to breaking his arm last season, then he did go a bit down hill, he is a valuable member of this sqaud and I can't believe people want him gone just like that!
With a bit of love & nurture Husband has the potential to be a very good left back. I think and hope Rovers have set their sights high for a fee and add on fees, I hope we keep hold of him though as we know how good he was in League 1, after all that's how he broke into the first team squad!
-
Go on then, Where are we placed financially?
About £4m less income this season and £12m in debt.
-
And, of course, if we do do as Boomstick and a few others suggest, in 12 months time he can walk. Yes, we'd get something because of his age, but would you want to rely on what that might be? Old sayings really do come from centuries of experience: they're usually true. So, a bird in the hand....
Personally, I'd keep him simply because, As Wilts says, he's likely to be pretty cheap to run. We might lose him for not much in 12 months time, but then again, we might get promoted too. He might be tempted to stay then and we could afford to pay him more too.

Husband is a confidence player, when it goes he's a complete liability on the edge of the box, in the Prem the opposing wingers and forwards would rip him to pieces. As for how much, Donny always sell themselves short in the transfer market, I would push or around 600k but I bet it would be nearer 300.
-
Week in , week out when some of us watch MOD , the panel review the costly mistakes when defenses play poorly. IMO Husband doesn't make any worse errors than those players selected for scathing remarks. Some of those players are very experienced, extremely well paid and often don't have the attacking ability that our lad has.
Slag him off if you want but this lad is worth £1 million easily . His potential is obvious hence the reason why highly skilled managers are looking at him . One of those managers was a massively talented defender himself and would recognise the talent that Husband has.
However some on here think he is worth nowt either to the buyer or the seller. That sort of attitude will never help our club to balance the books !!
-
It's a bit strange how a lot of people seem to think that Husband is worth a lot of money, yet think he's not very good.
That being said, I'd like to see him play in midfield for a bit like he did for that few games in League 1, he did seem to have the ability to score goals.
-
He needs to move forward into midfield that could be the making of him into the million pound player
-
We see players maybe once a week (for those who go to away games). The Manager sees players every day in training plus games as well and yet certain people seem to know better than the Manager!!

-
They don't get paid to be good in training though ;)
