Anyone know if there are any plans for wifi to be made available at the stadium
-
I take it you mean free wifi
COYR
-
I'd rather money was spent on important stuff...like a 20 goal a season striker
-
Whats the point only sell him can't see us selling the wifi...but you never know
-
The 3g signal in the stadium is non existent at half time, but like it was said earlier, I'd sooner they address the playing issues than the internet access
-
It's the same in any stadium or place where a large amount of people are gathered. I don't know about anyone else, but I go to watch the football and you don't need 3G or wifi for that.
Oh and there is free wifi it's the Keepmoat, in the East Stand hospitality section at the very least.
-
There is a wifi signal in the west stand if you sit next to the press box
And know the WEP key?
-
He might like to look at the football scores from other games, i do its part of the Saturday football experience
-
If you sit in the South East corner there is a wifi signal for the ground staff just need to speak to Andy For the code
-
Another take on KMS ,i have just heard that as of last night the NEW Owners of DRFC are -wait for it-John Ryan and Louis Tomlinson (of One Direction )
Anyone else heard this or should it go into the rumour mill ?

Should we create a bullshit section?
-
Aren't there enough t**ts that fanny around looking at their "phones" while the game is taking place?
-
It's been discussed under IRWT, but for a stadium like ours it's not really cost effective. However, stadium wide wi-fi is all the rage at certain stadiums (especially in the US) because of the extra facilities and service that become available, ordering food and drinks for example.
-
It's available in the Belle Vue bar
-
Wembley and the Etihad stadiums have both partnered with major mobile phone suppliers to provide interactive services throughout the match, and have installed serious infrastructure to ensure coverage is available to all.

At least I can get a signal on my mobile most of the time at the Keepmoat, which is a lot better than I could manage at Leicester!

Me too Jenny...
-
I'm just wondering, is there any reason 3G tends to barely work in football grounds (for me at least)? no problem with 4G mind.

think it just about demand
There must be only so much bandwidth
When I walk out of the KMS I often can't get a signal to make a call
-
Even though my phone tells me I have "H+" internet signal inside the stadium I can't actually access the internet at all. And on the way to the stadium I can access the internet, on the way out (post match) I can't!
-
That's probably because everyone makes their way to the stadium at different times, whereas everyone leaves at once
-
The club could really make use of this as a marketing tool, as stated ordering and paying for food, updates on events etc
