f**k him and good luck to them. Lots of ability. Very little discipline or application.

With hindsight we should have binned him after he got cracked in town, we paid him wages while he was injured through his own stupidity

We should have played him at centre half. He will be a better player for a Watford next season you would think after a pre season.

Will do well for them we had one of the leagues best centre back and continued to play him at right back.

He was an absolute liability at the end of the season. Utterly indisciplined in his positional play.

Good defender. Poor distributor.

He had a wicked cross on him when he got it right, admitatdley it only got it right around 1 in 10.

He was poor because he's never been a right back big and slow. Should have been playing at centre back with Meite

Bound to be poor when clearly played out of position during his time here. When he did play CB he was a class above

He was playing in a bad side when he came back from injury to be fair to him.

Does that excuse apply to James Husband?

With the way he handled some of the opposing players I was amazed he was sent-off at times.  What he lacked in pace he seemed to make up for in mild assault ;)

I think James was the clear winner in the points costing monumental error stakes. Hopefully the drop in class helps him find a bit of form next season.

William, you do like to defend James Husband don't you, even when he's not the topic of discussion.

BCS

I wasn't defending anyone. I was asking whether excuses were confined to one player's shite performances, or were more widely applicable.

I saw Husband's mistakes for myself. I saw plenty from Tamas too, especially as we chucked away a point against Reading that would have kept us up.

Hey ho.

Colin, you do like a dig at BST don't you? Whatever the topic of conversation is ;)

Not much of a dig Filo, merely an observation.

Will be a top signing for them as they will not play him out of position at right back.

Will be a decent signing if keeps his head down off the pitch

Hey ho.

Husband made more clear cut mistakes which lead to us chucking away points than Tamas did. Guaranteed.

I thought PD did a great job to get him to come to us when we were in dire straits at the back. He is Championship level .

As I said to Rob when he visited me at the hospital, I hope that in future other romanian/s will join this team.
