Pomegranate for me, every time.
-
British Strawberries can't be topped for me. Anything from anywhere else just doesn't have that proper Strawberry taste.
Pomegranate is up there but too much fannying about.
-
Tomato
The savoury fruit. It makes nice soup, sauce and condiments, where would Italian cuisine be without tomato? You can even drink it as a juice, like other fruit.
What an all rounder!
-
That Scottish fruit, scotch eggs.
-
No. You're wrong. It's pomegranate.
Mod. This thread has run its course, please lock it.

Pomegranates are shite as a fruit, what's the point of any fruit that you can only eat with a pin??!!
Pear drops for me!

If I say Stephen Fry, will I get banned?
-
Oranges are not the only fruit.
-the title of a classic of lesbian literature, and very good to watch on tv too.
-
Oranges are not the only fruit.
Are you taking the piss? Of course they aren't. Pomegranates are.
-
Pomegranates, the beautiful shining jewels in the fruit crown. So expensive these days but oh so good.. I'm with you BST, I love them..
For every day though it has to be an orange... or a grapefruit, can't resist either tbh.
-
I can't say I'm impressed with the obvious Pro Pomegranate agenda being pushed by some on this forum. :coat:

Medlar
True story: many years ago in Holland I had a girlfriend who was half Dutch, half Spanish. She brought some fruit back from Spain and said have some 'Nisperos' - I don't know what they are in any other language.
So we check the Spanish-Dutch dictionary and it says Nispero is a fruit called Mispel in Dutch
So we check the Dutch-English Dictionary and it says a it is a fruit called Medlar
I am still none the wiser so I check and English Dictionary - and it says Medlar is a Spanish fruit called Nispero :headbang:
-
f**k you all.
Passion Fruit is the king of the fruits.
No debate to be had.
-
Don't make me ban someone for the 5th time in 5 years!
All hail... the Gooseberry!
-
Rhubarb
The vegetable that thinks it's a fruit. It likes to try and replace the apple in a crumble but don't be fooled it's really a vegetable.
-
Can't go wrong with apples.
And if you get a maggot in it it must be because you're a gret Kitson.
-
I like a juicy pair.
-
I like jucy's pair.
:P :P
-
Tut, tut....

Opal Fruits...until some cnut changed the name
-
Do you Kitsons think this place is Facebook?
I wasn't trying to stir a debate. I was making a statement.
Some of you need 5 minutes in front of a big, clean, honest mirror. You're pathetic.
-
Cherries for me
-
Grapes for me. Red and white, as long as they're not sour.

They're made to make your mouth water..................

What about the jalapeƱo pepper?
It's great pickled on a doner kebab!

They can - cream or ice cream normally :)

-
My new favourite fruit.. The Sequentia Capital Belize banana.
-
Pomegranate for me, every time.
With you there BST.
-
Before the World Cup, we bought three bananas from ASDA.
I am sure they are more intelligent than we imagine as these bananas foretold Englands fate. The first two were covered in banana skins hinting at slipping in the first two games, while tbe third had a sticker on it which said Costa Rica, Englands third opponents.
Whats more, a potato in the same basket looked like Wayne Rooney.
This empathy between fruit and vegetables can be quite unnerving and spooky.
