-
Yep me unfortunately, any idea of the team

Steer
Wabara, Evina, Jones, McCullough
Bennett, Keegan, Furman, Coppinger
Tyson, Robinson
No idea of formation

Rovers: Steer, Wabara, Evina, Jones, McCullough, Coppinger, Keegan, Furman, Bennett, Tyson, Robinson.
Subs: Wakefield, Lund, Whitehouse, Peterson, Middleton, De Val, Forrester, Main, Trialist.
-
You beat me to it, Bristol...
Any idea who the trialist GK is on the bench?
-
Rotherham had a corner and a freekick but came to nothing. Rovers pressing well and looking lively in attack.
-
Is he 6'6" and speaks polish?
-
We may take a shine to him.
-
Good to have Jones back - sounds like he's solid, as was last time round. Though we're not sounding that great yet overall.
-
Tyson goes close - just wide.
-
Decent penalty shout for rovers after tug on Tyson turned down. Rotherham go up other end and score disallowed goal.
Dickov blowing his load on the touch line.
-
Jones heading everything.. and impressive .. of course .. Tyson too

Are the One Call girls there? ;)

hope Curtis Main , de Val and Forrester get on second half

hope Curtis Main , de Val and Forrester get on second half
Hoping that's from the start of the second half, and that's all of the subs we use. Important to get this side playing together so we hit the ground running at Yeovil.
Main on for Robinson, de Val on for Keegan/Furman, Forrester on for Furman/Bennett?
-
Sounds like we're doing ok so far :scarf:
-
I think Jones will come off after 45 - pushing it to expect much more. If so Wakefield on I guess

fromFree Press
Doncaster Rovers and Rotherham United went in goalless at the break at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The headline team news was the return of Rob Jones - back in the starting eleven for the first time since October.
Chances were thin on the ground during the early exchanges, although the lively Tyson just failed to connect with a teasing Bennett cross.
Jones was settling in nicely on his return, heading several balls away and constantly communicating with his young defensive colleagues.
Rovers’ back four was caught flat footed just after the quarter hour mark, however, when a long ball over the top sent Bowery clear but he fired just over.
A neat Millers passing move then saw Frecklington fire over when he had time and space to do better.
Doncaster had faded slightly but Tyson came close to a spectacular opener, firing just wide from 30 yards.
The free transfer arrival was causing Rotherham’s back four one or two problems with his pace.
And he appeared to have a good case for a penalty when he crept up on Morgan and the defender responded by checking the striker’s progress with an outstretched arm.
At the other end Derbyshire had an effort ruled out for offside, before Green latched onto a loose ball and fired just wide of the far post.

Great to hear that the corpral is back!
-
We definitely need Jones back and fit. Defense sounds shaky without him.
-
Steer..
-
Rotherham 1 - 0. Sounds like an Evina mistake.
-
Our away kit is minging
-
And there we have it - soon as Jones is off, its 1-0 Rotherham
-
2 - 0.
-
Just shows the value of needing to have Rob Jones fit
-
Can we but him back on please ffs
-
This is what friendlies are all about. Trying different things out, see what happens in certain situations etc. it's just a shame we really wasted the other friendlies with all the take over crap and this is now the last chance to get things sorted prior to the proper season starts
-
Can we but him back on please ffs
It sounds like it's these defenders that need the game time!
-
Couldn't agree more ian1980. I wonder if the club will arrange a behind closed doors practice match during the coming week?
-
Rotherham have the benefit of momentum as well.
-
On this showing it's certain we are atleast 4 or 5 players short of anything like a competitive squad. Forrester, de val and main only 3 that you can expect to play rest of them are garbage... feel sorry for pd but he needs to beg for more pocket money cos this is shite.
-
Crossing sounds bad today.
-
We can not expect to go through the season with 4 centre halves. Liam Wakefield will never be good enough in a million years and McCombe will struggle this season.
-
Main 1 - 2. Great control and finish according to commentators.
-
He definitely has potential, browny wouldn't have scored that.. very direct and aggressive.
-
Liking the potential with our forwards this season. de Val must be given a run in the side this season. I almost hope we don't get Wellens.

We already have Wellens?
-
You cnt play both furman and keegan too similar. . For me it's de val and furman
-
Dickov blowing his load on the touch line.
I hope he gets charged for that.
-
It's our own version of Gerrard and Lampard where everyone bar the manager can see it doesn't work.

we are doomed then dj, ffs its only a friendly get agrip and just wait till the important games start like at Yeovil. RTID
-
Agree same problem last year when keagan and Furman together.
-
Dickov blowing his load on the touch line.
I hope he gets charged for that.

We heard you the first time!! :o)
-
2:1 final score then....?
-
Yeah. Quality goal by Thor. Defence looked decent in the first half, Jones was a rock. Furman/Keegan doesn't work and De Val has to start.

Lots of positives that's for sure. Few
Little issues to work on but plenty to be positive about. The attack should be exciting that's for sure. Main impressed me. Good movement, good finish. Defence is the issue. When Jones went off it lost that commanding player. Too much youth in Wakefield and
Lm together.
