I'm torn between wanting a good cup run, but not wanting to risk injuries with the lack of depth in the squad. Although more games will help gel the team seeing as they've not actually been together for that long!

Either way, I reckon we'll win this. 3 - 1 to the Rovers!  :scarf:

not a bad starting 11 1-3 Rovers

When you look at that line up it means the bench is stronger than most thought, add Wellens and Quinn if they stay or replacements if they leave, not too bad. Still requires luck with injuries though.

If Wellens were to somehow stay that would be a major boost

Maybe he just wants to try out a new combination. Hopefully it'll mean Furman is allowed to play in a more advanced role like under Flynn.

Why can you still not listen to live commentary on radio sheff online?

Probably to do with licensing, they can only broadcast football to the region, but online it would go anywhere?  Same with league games.  Pisser, as I live out of the RS area too...

I wouldn't expect a great spectacle, 2nd game into the season with 5 changes since Saturday - will take a while for the team to settle properly.  Soak up whatever York throw at us and take advantage of our moments.

Sounds like Rovers have woken up a bit in last couple of minutes. Commentary makes us believe a few just going through motions and not taking responsibility. Kyle Bennett doing the fancy dan in bad areas and giving the ball away, long aimless balls out of defence.

Main sounds like the only one trying to get things going and gee the others up.

Think we'll be glad to get to half time and get heads bashed and tell them, ask them whether they really do want to be professional footballers.

Go out there, work hard, look up and help each other. At the beginning of a season, they should be out there like spring lambs.

Bennett seems to have just completely gone at the game. Forrester instantly lifted the team when he came on. Not sure how we can get through a season with Furman, Keegan and De Val in midfield either.

Beat me to it Lincs.

Similarities with last League One campaign, although I hope things are a bit different as our home record was poor.

Not being greedy like, but a home win on Saturday will be very welcome to get the home ball rolling and get fans down to the KM.
