Whatever happens here, at least the home crowd have had something to shout about for the first 30 mins which is MASSIVE for us.

The last time we lost after being 2 ahead was against Portsmouth 14th April 2012.

Keegan on for De Val is a reasonable plan B I think. Just got to hold the ball and get some momentum.

It has worked this time, but sustaining that amount of pressure will not work in the long run.

The first half performance sounded great and this is a fantastic result in light of recent events.

Post by: wing commander on September 20, 2014, 09:11:36 pm: To the guys who weren't at the game to be fair we have to take account to the fact they were the best team weve played and on the whole played very well..We had our chances to bury them and they had there's..Dickov changed De Val for keegan to stiffen up the midfield and we were more comfortable after that..In truth it's harsh to criticise anybody today..Players or management..

Post by: IDM on September 22, 2014, 07:03:05 pm: Both sides looked like scoring on every attack. 4-4 would have been a credible result. Chesterfield were by far the best attacking team to come here so far this season, but we were so much better going forward than on Tuesday.
