Why ? It's classic comedy, just leave it alone
-
You've got to admit, the casting is spot on.

No Rob, it was what it was and should be left alone. It can't and won't be the same
-
"Vot iz your name?"

I dunno, they could hardly shoot a new film with the original cast?
Neil from the inbetweeners as Pike is inspired casting!
-
Don't know how I feel about this... Oh hang on, yes I do.. :(
I have always loved Arnold Ridley and John Le Mesurier, anyone else as Godfrey and Wilson is just sacrilege.

At least it isn't "americanised"...

No I agree, it should be sacrosanct. However, they are doing it, so I hope it turns out well and they've assembled an excellent cast to give it every chance.

They do revivals of stage plays, musical and films with new casts all the time...why shouldn't classic tv comedy be the same..?
