Title: Dons Fixtures for 2015

The only thing that puzzles me is Good Friday (3rd April). We're supposed to be playing Bradford City at home that day (7.45pm) and yet the Dons are down to play at home to Sheffield Eagles that day. Surely both matches can't take place on the same day, so I wonder which one is going to have to move?

It would seem sense to play the Dons v Eagles game on the Saturday, although the Dons then go to Whitehaven on the Monday. Maybe Thursday evening for the Dons game?

A double header, afternoon for the Dons and evening for the Rovers?

I have to admit, I'd be well up for that but I can see all kinds of practical problems.

I'm sure there was a double header last season, the Rovers played on the afternoon and then the Dons in the evening, I'm sure Andy the old groundsman was out changing the posts and pitch markings straight after the Rovers game

Almost Filo.

It was the Swindon game on Easter Monday that was live on Sky. We kicked off at 12:15 and Dons at 3:30PM.

This was something the club were hopeful of replicating so we imagine this will go ahead. It's probably fair to say look out for some sort of 'double ticket' promotion closer to the time.

For anyone interested there is also a game on May 23rd/ 24th where for the first time outside Super League there is a magic weekend at Bloomfield Rd,Blackpool where there are three matches each day so all 12 teams play over the weekend. Great value for money and a weekend in Blackpool to boot. Can't miss that.
