It's been almost 5 years since Rovers last won at Ashton Gate, with Jay Emmanual-Thomas scoring a brace in a 7 goal thriller. JET now plays for the Robins of course, but hopefully he will be just as quiet as the previous fixture at the Keepmoat.

Even with the losses of Furman and Johnstone from the squad, I've got a funny feeling we are going to do it tonight.

I fancy a 1-0 win in a game with defences on top.

I fancy a draw, extra time and a very late winner/loser in about minute 117! We never do things easily! Not sure which way it will go though!

We weren't sitting back we were putting them under the cosh and were on top you still need to have some protection against the counter attack that's common sense!

Attacking doesn't mean you have to have as many attacking players you can have on the pitch at the same time. We were doing most of the attacking out of the two teams up until their 2nd fair enough to Dickov bringing the two strikers on made a difference and put us on top. But you can't defend the 3rd sub Keegan is the only player who can protect against the counter and that's exactly where there 2nd goal came from and it was extremely naive and stupid to make that tactical sub.

We were only one goal down, there was still half an hour to go, and we were holding our own. Yes start pushing forward a bit more, but fcuk me weaken your midfield and play with 3 forwards against a decent side with still half an hour to go? Crazy.

League or cup it doesn't make a difference at a professional level you can't be doing that it was obvious what was going to happen when Keegan went off for Bennett and it was obvious that kind of sub wasn't going to benefit the team. You still need to have some form of shape and balance even if it is a cup game that your going all out for.
