Title: This wont catch on in Football !

From the Knights Forum today :


Based on today's match and probably much of this season, I have an important message for some of our so called fans:

Respect the game
Respect the referee
Respect yourselves.

I know the referee made some odd calls but they were consistently so, there was no bias. Anybody who openly screamed abuse at the referee or the away team's bench needs to take a good hard look at themselves and think about why they come to the rugby. I know if I was a Nottingham fan I wouldn't have enjoyed the atmosphere at Castle Park today.

As I said I don't think this will be applicable at The Keepmoat any time soon !

I thought this sort of thing never happened at rugby and always happened at football? Perhaps all rugby fans aren't the saints they are painted out to be

To be fair there were a couple of individuals shouting offensive things like "Rubbish Ref" and "Linesman help the Ref out man" That's all I heard and I was in the area !

Have to say the Rules baffle me a lot and the Ref always seemed to be awarding Nottingham "something" but whether he was biased / rubbish / incompetent I cant really say - and so I don't know if Knights genuinely committed all the offences the Ref found them guilty of !
