Title: Grand National winner...?

Come on Mick, we're all waiting...!

Right. I've studied the form and am supremely confident that the winner will come from one of these 3 horses and that the other 2 will be placed.

Royale Knight 25/1
Alvarado 28/1
Soll 16/1

I'll be backing all these horses each way at BetVictor as he is paying out on the first 6 places rather than the usual 4 that most bookies pay out on. I'll be very surprised if they don't finish in the order suggested.

I'll be putting £100 each way on all the selections and will be looking forward to booking an expensive holiday at the bookies expense  at around 4.40pm.

Excuse me. I've made a nice profit thank you very much.  4th at 28/1 and 6th at 25/1. All those of you that took the advice please form an orderly queue to thank me. Even Soll who finished 9th took the lead with a few fences to go. He would have won but for getting a bit tired.

A nice £725 profit or 121% profit on your stakes. That's what I call expert tipping.

Get in.

Fancy spending it on a holiday and f*cking off for a few weeks? Preferable somewhere with no internet access?

I'd be interested to see d**khead's betting slips and receipts for his winnings. If he thinks he's made a profit of £725, he's been diddled.

Why? I haven't checked the results but if what he has said is right:

£600 stake.

Horse placed at 25/1, returns £100 x 6.25/1, £625.

Horse places at 28/1, returns £100 x 7/1, £700.

Return £1,325 against spend of £600, £725 profit.

Where is the orderly queue? Didn't anyone take the advice and make a good few quid like what I did? Did you seriously not think I knew what I was on about?

Look. I'll give you one more chance to make some easy money. Back Man Utd to beat City later today for some easy money.

How can anyone argue with that?

You asked for selections, you got them and made a tidy profit... how you can still knock the man is beyond me.

Unfortunately some people are never happy. I just hope everyone backed Man Utd to win. Just gone 2-1 up.

Look. Seeing as I'm in a good mood, I'll give you another cast iron way of making money (that's if you've got a Betfair and Betdaq or Smarkets account). Bet £10 on Jordan Speith to win the Masters on your Betfair Sportsbook account (NB it must be Sportsbook not Exchange). Worst case you'll currently get odds of 1.4. Lay Speith at Betdaq or Smarkets at odds of 1.52. Use £9.52 as the lay stake. You will have lost about £1 on the transaction. Then back Mickelson to win with your free £5 bet at 7.5 (currently). You then lay Mickelson at 8.2 with a stake of £4.00. This will then mean no matter what happens you will generate a profit of about £2.80.

If the above doesn't make sense then leave well alone. NB do not use Betfair to lay the bets off.

You're a professional gambler who can't even calculate his own returns on a winning bet?

Go wind up someone thick enough to fall for it, idiot.

Like I said, some people are never happy. Modesty prevented me from bragging about how much I really had won but seeing as you wouldn't let it lie and wouldn't answer Nick I will confirm that I actually made £925 profit.

I think you're just annoyed because you haven't backed Man Utd to win. Some people never learn.

Come on then BST, let's have some selections.

It's very easy to pull people down who put their head on the chopping block, fair play to IC1967 for standing up and being counted. Hopefully you'll do the same.

Congratulations for getting the number right on your second stab. All you had to do was look at your receipt from the bookies.

Oh aye. It's VERY easy. Especially with d**khead here who has made more wrong predictions than Jamie McCombe has lost aerial duels this season.

You want a list?

If he's got one right for once, I'm chuffed to bits for him. But if you REALLY believe that he put a £600 bet on those predictions, you are even dafter than your recent posts would suggest.

If you're trying to say he makes plenty of wrong predictions that's a horrible analogy.

Forget the stakes for a minute, it's immaterial. The opening post asked for some selections, IC1967 delivered a profit REGARDLESS OF SIZE. Profit isn't a dirty word.

You can't be critical without offering anything up yourself. Come on BST. Stand up and be counted.

Aye pal. Whatever.

Firstly, read what I said. If he's finally come up with a winning prediction then I'm chuffed to bits for him. My comment revolved around the obvious fact that he hadn't placed the bet.

Secondly, if you REALLY want to see predictions from me, you'll have to go past gee-gees because I couldn't care less about them. But you could go and have a look at the previous run-ins I've had with Mick on a variety of topics. Try the Scottish independence referendum for starters. If you find one where he and I made predictions, he got one right and I got one wrong, let me know.

Then go find someone else to wind-up. Or ask your mates for a help in crafting your wind up arguments if you're going to try it with me because you're f**king useless as it stands.

I'll think about it. It seems there's no gratitude on this forum from the majority of posters. I would first need an assurance from BST that he isn't going to criticise me for just trying to put a bit of extra cash in everyone's pocket.

Prez does not have a grudge. He is fair minded. He asked the question because the likes of BST and BobG regularly accuse me of having aliases.

It is also very rare for anyone to congratulate me or agree with anything I post, so immediately suspicions are raised when it happens.

BST is just very bitter that I don't hold left wing views on politics. Because of this he tries to denigrate me all the time. You should see some of the stuff he's posted about me in the past. It's a total disgrace.

I try to rise above it and do my best not to sink to his level but it's getting more and more difficult.

Mick

I accused you of not having placed those bets.

Boom Boom, for reasons best known to himself, waded into the discussion to have a pop at me for criticising your predictions. Which I didn't. Well done by the way.

It's not the first time that he's stuck his oar into a discussion, got the wrong end of the stick, then f**ked off. I'm sure he'll improve as a WUM if he keeps hanging around with you.

Meantime, your long awaited abject apology is here and waiting for you if you can simply show some evidence that I unfairly impugned your honour when I said that you were lying about placing those bets.

Just as picture if the receipt or the betting slip. All that's needed and I will profusely and unambiguously apologise.
Title: Re: Grand National winner...?
Post by: IC1967 on April 12, 2015, 10:18:31 pm
It may surprise you to know that I couldn't care less whether you believe me or not. I couldn't care less about an abject apology. I've never had one off you in the past despite being owed dozens. So one more to add to the list won't hurt anything.

It shouldn't matter how much money I've made. I was asked to provide tips. I did this. They were excellent tips and would have made money for anyone that took my advice. Where is the crime in this? What did I do to deserve abuse?

I then out of the goodness of my heart advised people to make some money on Man Utd. I made £1800 before you ask. Another successful tip.

I then showed people how to make a few quid on the golf.

I really am at a loss to understand your bile. I don't think I've done anything wrong. In fact the opposite is true.

Do me a favour and all the other gamblers on the forum. Promise you won't attack me again for providing tips and we can all get on with making some money.
Title: Re: Grand National winner...?
Post by: BillyStubbsTears on April 12, 2015, 10:42:10 pm
Mick.

How utterly bizarre. You demand abject apologies from people who have the temerity to so much as fart in the same postcode as you. You demand them so often, it's a standing joke here that you must have "abject apology" on speed-typing. But when I accuse you of being a liar and a fanatasist and offer to make a public apology if you can provide evidence to the contrary, evidence that you MUST have if you are NOT a liar and a fantasist, you go all coy.

So, liar and fantasist it is then.

By the way, point out where I attacked you for providing tips and I'll apologise over that one as well.
Title: Re: Grand National winner...?
Post by: IC1967 on April 12, 2015, 11:49:46 pm
Not coy at all. I've proved myself to be as honest as the day is long and feel no need to produce 'evidence'. I've been on this forum long enough now for people to form the opinion that I am totally trustworthy. I'm sorry my word is not good enough for you.

I only demand abject apologies when they are deserved. I also have a track record of issuing abject apologies when I have transgressed. Just ask Jucyberry.

You on the other hand have not issued one despite your many transgressions. Why should I believe you are suddenly going to change this pattern of behaviour?

Now get an abject apology sorted for all the unwarranted abuse you've thrown at me on this thread. It will be immediately accepted with good grace and we can move on and make a fresh start. I'll even let you off with all the other abject apologies you owe me.

Now get on with it man. You know you should.

Actually no.

In my case, I got the f**king hump when you accused me of giving a skewed set of numbers to suit the case I was trying to peddle. Then, when I gave you a full exposition of the numbers and asked for your opinion, you f**ked off like a kid who'd tried playing with the mesters and been bitch-slapped.

If you've got a serious issue to discuss, come and do it.

If you've got so few arrrows in your quiver that you can do nowt but lick Mad Mick's arse, then you are welcome to it.

Good isn't it?
We're regularly chastised for our immaturity and potentially spoiling the quality of Viking Chat yet this subforum has been absolute garbage for over a year.
If it's not 17 pages of political spats, with IC getting rounded on whatever his opinion, it's quality posts about Lakes in Doncaster or how to get a wood stump out of the ground.
The best bit of course is crying clique, the fact someone else has called it on BST suggests it's apparent how he operates. I report his posts regularly, especially when he volleys personal abuse at other posters yet he still stands while others have been banned (or silenced) for far less.

If people don't like threads in the off-topic section, just don't read them, it's not hard is it? why do people have to make a big song and dance telling everyone what they don't like to read or what they find boring or what they don't think belongs here?

I don't generally. It was only being alerted to my name cropping up in another of Billys Viking Chat nuisance posts that I felt compelled to have a nosey. The threads are of their usual high standard.

I'm not sure who the "crew" is, or this "clique" that Boom, Wesley and Lewis get so upset about (they seem to miss the frank exchanges of views that Bob, I and others have on other topics  - try ones on driving for example).

As for Mick, I'm genuinely delighted that he's got one right. Every dog deserves their day. This one has been a long time coming, but it was a cracking call that he made on Saturday. I only wish he'd had the courage of his won convictions and put a few bob on himself. He deserved to.

If one or two recent members are not IC himself then IMHO they're almost certainly recruits. It's all too convenient all of a sudden.

You'd certainly hope IP checks are being made.

How do you ignore someone by the way? Can't see for the life of me how to do it.

I can't get my breath! How can a thread where I was asked for betting tips descend into such farce? I can assure all posters I only ever post under the pseudonym of IC1967. I'm regularly asked questions and I do my best to respond to everything that is thrown at me (unlike some others around here I could mention). I believe my record in responding is 100%. No-one else on the forum comes remotely close to answering questions like what I do. I only don't answer if the question is silly.

So what is my crime this time? I was asked for tips on the Grand National and gave them. If you'd followed my advice you would have made a nice profit. I then advised people to get on Man Utd in the derby yesterday. Guess what more profit. I am a professional gambler you know. I also showed how you could make a few quid on the masters golf yesterday. 3 bets, 3 winners. What happens? I get abuse from the usual suspects.

Look it's very simple. I'm a professional gambler and make a lot of money at it. I packed in the day job many years ago as I find this way of making money more enjoyable. I like to help others make a bit of money too. Where is the crime?

Look, if silly Billy and BobG issue immediate abject apologies I'll continue to post profitable tips. Come on guys, you know you should. You don't have to follow the expert advice but it would be unfair of you to deny others the opportunity.

Get on with it.

Look. I'd be grateful if you could offer up an abject apology for your slanderous remarks. There is only one IC1967. I have no recruits, just other fair minded posters.

I think you think it has become all too convenient all of a sudden as I suspect people are starting to get fed up of all the unfair criticism that is leveled at me all the time. Even on a thread where I'm asked for profitable tips that deliver I get unwarranted abuse. Those that comment on the unfair abuse also get abused! You couldn't make it up.

I dread to think what would have happened if my tips hadn't won!

Let me put everyone's minds at rest. I am IC1967. I have no aliases. I am not Boom Boom. Those of you that have had a go at him need to get an abject apology sorted pronto. He has done nothing on this thread to warrant the abuse he's attracted.

I apologise for ever giving you the time of day Mick. It's a decision that haunts me daily.

I just tried to 'ignore' Boom boom. Only when I pressed the button it didn't do anything. Boom Boom is registered to the same IP as you are Mick. So f*** off you lying turd!

Get in!!

Can any of the mods substantiate this claim?

Look. I'd be grateful if you could issue an immediate abject apology to me and Boom Boom. We are most definitely not registered to the same IP address. I'm happy for the mods to confirm or deny my statement. We are 2 different people. We don't know each other.

Now get on with that abject apology and we'll all try to stop laughing behind your back.

Even if it was the same I.P. address, how do we know it isn't IC's mate from Hereford hijacking his computer, setting up an account and posting with decent knowledge about people on this site?

Unless that's a bit far fetched?

I make that four demands from Mick for abject apologies after he said yesterday that he was tired of asking for them.

I'll repeat Mick. Show us your betting slips and you'll get the most abject apology in the history of abject apologies from me.

There's three alias's you've used for starters, would you like to confirm to everyone that you have never posted as the first two on the list, ever?

Look. I already tried to downplay my winnings but you wouldn't let it lie. How do you think folk are going to feel about me bragging about how much money I've made when a lot of them are struggling just to feed their families? I am a modest man at heart and have no wish to rub further salt into a wound for all those people that didn't take my excellent advice.

Do them a favour Billy. Let it drop. I'm sure those that didn't take the advice would prefer it if they didn't have their noses rubbed in it.

No Mick, I think in this case your honour has been so challenged that it would only be right and proper to produce the evidence that will clear any doubts once and for all.

Well done for the tips btw, 3 of the top 10 and 2 of the top 6 is not bad going.

I'm used to my honour being impugned. It's water off a duck's back. I have produced copies of betting slips before only to have them ridiculed. It's pointless trying to convince silly Billy.

I guess you don't work then Mick? Lazing around on state benefits are you? Me? I work for a living. I can't post at times to suit you.

Remind me: what was the question you're so hot under the collar about me replying to?

In the meantime you need to start engaging the old brain a bit more. Shall I go see if Boom Boom has the same IP as you? RJH? MJD?  Or p'raps I should simply ask Filo and the mods?

So keep 'em coming Mick/Boom/MGD/Mad/RJH. You keep us amused.

In the meantime, lying dog turds like you, in whatever alias you happen to be using, need to start engaging the old brain a bit more. Shall I go see if Boom Boom has the same IP as you? RJH? MJD?  Or p'raps I should simply ask Filo and the mods?

I really can't remember ever coming across a bigger w**ker than you. A w**ker with verbal diarroeah. A w**ker with delusions. So keep 'em coming Mick/Boom/MGD/Mad/RJH. You keep us amused. Especially when you look such a tit as you do right now. Lol!

BobG

Cheers,

Think about this for a second before throwing more personal insults about....the moderators haven't jumped to your defence... should that be telling you something? If we were using the same IP address do you think Filo would've jumped all over it?

My suggestion is you pipe down you're making a right royal fool of yourself here.

But otherwise, please do put us out of our misery Moderators.

Excuse me. I don't rely on any state benefits. I 'retired' very early from the usual 9 to 5 job many years ago. I saved money and invested and am now reaping the rewards. I make most of my money these days from professional gambling and my property portfolio. So technically I still work but not in the conventional way. So I can post whenever I feel like it. I am in total control of my work life balance. Seems like you haven't had the nous to do likewise and are still at the beck and call of 'the man'.

I'm unaware of getting hot under the collar about a question I've asked you. I learned many months ago that you don't answer questions (unlike myself that has a 100% record for answering questions). I leave the getting hot under the collar to you and silly Billy.

Look. It's very simple. You are under the delusion that I am posting using several I.D.s. I'm not. I post only under the pseudonym of IC1967. For example BoomBoom is not me. The mods know this is the case but have let you make a fool of yourself by trying to claim we are the same person. We are not. We don't know each other. We are 2 different people.

The mods can back me up on this any time they like. Unfortunately you've made yourself look daft by claiming we are the same person. Ask yourself the question 'why have your mates the mods not vindicated you?' I'll tell you why. Because they know that we are 2 different people. I'm surprised they haven't at least PM'd you to let you know to stop you from making yourself look daft. Who is RJH by the way?

Look. You need to get a grip. Take a chill pill and block me. You'll feel so much better for it.

Just one request. Once the mods confirm privately or publicly that I am not BoomBoom or RJH please issue an immediate abject apology. I promise you will be forgiven instantly and we can start again with a clean slate. I'll even let you off with all the horrible things you've said about me. I can't say fairer than that.

Get on with it man. You know you should.
