As a PNE fan, just wondering what you think your chances are of doing us an almighty big favour and getting 3 points against MK Dons on Tuesday? As our players are bottling it, we need your help!!
-
I think you better start looking forward to the playoffs mate. We'll be lucky to only lose by a goal on Tuesday :chair:
-
It's away so we have a chance. Unfortunately we have a number of posers in our team and we can never guarantee whether they will turn up. Hope Preston do it.
-
i think we could shock you bob
-
Thanks Copps Is Magic, im sure most northerners would rather see us go up ahead of those southern plastics. Our record in the playoffs is: Played 9, lost 9 so we need 2nd pot. Who'd have thought Yeovil would beat Swindon today? Come on lads, you know you can do it!
-
Well we certainly have a better chance than if we were at home.
I'm sure that we will be trying but I don't hold out much hope.
-
I have a feeling we'll pinch it on Tuesday night. Then lose to Notts County. We're that sort of team...
-
Only 5 sides have managed to beat us this season on their own patch. So we've got a chance
-
Only 5 defeats on the road - that gives me cause for optimism! If we weren't playing Tuesday night id buy myself a Doncaster shirt and get myself down there to cheer you on. Good luck for next season, whatever happens on Tuesday night

You need to lower your expectations mate. Just like the rest of us have had to.
-
Sorry mate, the players won't give up their summer holidays for no one.

You have a chance mate, our side play much better away we are one of the few teams to keep them goal-less, when we played them at home early in the season.
It depends which way our team get out of bed, we can beat anybody on the day, but can also lose to anybody, away we have a good record 9 wins 7 draws 5 defeats, most of our goals have come away.
We beat Watford away earlier in the season in the cup when they were flying, we were very unlucky not to beat Fulham away, we drew at your place when really we should have held on, beat Bradford and Swindon away and drew at Chesterfield, i fancy us for a 2-1 win.

Come on Rovers.
From another Northender.

Asking for our help.
Have you PNE fans forgotten your club kindly stole Sammy J from us!

Sam only chose PNE over Rovers as it is his Hometown club, and his father played for the team, understandable. As for Tuesday don't see Rovers beating Franchise.

.... particularly when they unleash their distinctive style of "total (cynicism) Football"
-
Personally I think Donny will beat them by the odd goal or if they are lucky the MK will scramble a draw,
Remember the Bible says "Pride comes before a fall" and no disrespect to the last two opponents of MK but I think Donny ill go about their business a bit different. possibly a 4 -5 -1 system or even 4-2-3-1 utilising two sweepers (Rugby League style) between midfield and defence for the balls being chipped over the top for their fast forwards then defence will not have as much pressure whilst sitting deep.

Works in RL as a ploy I used several times against fast teams when I was coaching

Three wins to finish the season off with. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
-
Id much rather see PNE go up than MK or Swindon

... and finish an agonising 7th ?

You always look for the negative, you bugger.
;)

Sorry Northender. We are not very good
